Not a good day for Rivers. 43 minutes; scored 20, but shot 1/7 from three and had ZERO assists.
On the bright side, still shot 7-15 overall and had 9 rebounds. He did have some nice passes that Kelly and the Plumless dropped...but definitely not his best game from a creating for others standpoint.
I can tell you that rivers would do better them Harris is doing now running the point.
And that is a downgrade from Harris how?
I don't know what you're talking about....I've been propping up Rivers for most of the season. So has PKM.
He was just giving Rivers props, I think. No offense to either of us, I think.
He's a PF that gets a little perimeter happy. IMO, he's a great PF that can stretch the floor ... rather than a SF that can't defend most SF's as well on the perimeter.

He's a finesse PF, best case Vin Baker IMO, or maybe LMA.
Ugh....I'm tired. Sorry orange.
The Jazz are 5th in the Western Conference for the moment. The 2nd - 8th seeds are separated by just 2 games with 1/3 of the season in the books. To miss the playoffs and keep their draft pick, the Jazz would have to slip below Houston or Memphis.
1 OKC
2 LAC (3)
3 SAS (3)
4 DEN (3.5)
5 UTA (4.5)
6 POR (4.5)
7 LAL (4.5)
8 DAL (5)
9 HOU (5.5)
10 MEM (6.5)
LMA sounds about right, at least for a modern comparison. LMA can be brilliant at times, but falls in love with his 18 footer too much. That along with an average rebounder considering his immense size and length.
It's a decent comparison. I'd say P-Jones is much more athletic/explosive though.
I'm also starting to lean towards PKM's opinion that Rivers could be our guy for the backcourt.
