Following potential 2012 draftees

@PKM

Before the season started, I asked you what kind of numbers you thought everyone on Kentucky would put up, and I think you were pretty close. So here's a follow up question: if Kanter had been able to play, what do you think he would have averaged?

I believe, had he played last year and watching him in practice as well as playing other pros, he would have put up about 18 and 15. I really do.

I think Cousins had the ability to put up 18 and 15 as well .. difference between them was Enes was better conditioned and could play without fouling.

Enes would be money on UK's team this year. They could really use someone who can either score from the low post or attacking off the dribble.

Sad to be reminded of it ..

He was more needed on last year's team than this year, though. (Josh Harrelson last vs. Davis this)

Still think he can play in the NBA (being serious). He is putting up pretty good #'s in the Greek league.

His lane agility numbers at the combine were ridiculous, higher than John Wall or Derrick Rose. He royally screwed himself in interviews saying he thought he would become a superstar.

Hopson has the ability to not only be a good NBA player, but a superstar. Guy has everything needed .. except between the ears. Shooting, handles, decent passer, atheticism .. just has to get deadly serious about being the best. Never thought he'd get there and still don't. Mentally weak.

I think he has to get mentally serious about being a role player, not being a superstar. Hopefully being in Europe has humbled him/ put stuff into perspective and he can eventually get in a shot in the NBA. I still don't understand his lane agility #'s and how they are so low.

Hey, PKM any sleepers I should keep an eye on at pg that the Jazz could get in the second Round?

The sleepers have woken up and moving up. Therefore, I'll leave Machado, Lillard, and a couple others out of the mix. With these names (below), keep in mind that I don't even really like the best PG's in the class .. so understand I'm saying these are 2nd round flyers.

For 2nd rounders I like Aaron Craft (OSU), Jordan Taylor (Wisc), Shabazz Napier (UConn), Tyshawn Taylor (KU), and someone else but for the life of me I can't figure out who I'm thinking of ..

...maybe the Curry kid from Duke, maybe a couple Syracuse players, Oriakhe at UConn, maybe Davies from BYU ??

Kevin Jones of WVU (is he considered a sleeper?)

When I have watched UConn, Oriakhe has impressed me more than Drummond.

What about Fab Melo? Is he coming out this year? He really has improved and I'd love to get a pure center like him

Fab Mel has grabbed over 10 rebounds once all season I think? The dude is a terrible rebounder. If he could learn to rebound he would be a lottery pick for sure.
