Following potential 2012 draftees

Burks would be out of the lottery with the big name school SG's in the draft like Beal, Rivers, and Lamb. Burks got drafted so highly because he was considered one of the few SG prospects in the draft.

This whole thread is full of idiocy. We need to draft more white guys.

So with the 8th pick of the 2012 NBA draft, the Utah Jazz (via GSW) select, Meyers Leonard of the University of Illinois.

.. and with the 14th pick of the 2012 NBA draft, the Utah Jazz select .. *pause while waiting on a ruling on Austin Rivers* .. Tyler Zeller of UNC.

I just threw up a little.

I enjoy your style.

Geriatric ****.

He also performed very well in the NIT and in the few big games Colorado did play. Now that we know Burks can shoot and defend, you could make a case he gets drafted over all of those under performing guys.

The point of saying "Where would these guys get drafted" is basing it off them in college, not what they have done in the pros. Moron.

The facts are Burks was considered a lottery pick at the time because of lack of SG prospects. I don't know how he would get picked in the lottery in a draft that is fairly deep in SG's.

Yeah. But that's not to say scouts thought he didn't a lot of upside by any means.

I'm not dissing him, I'm just saying he would be probably be considered a lesser prospect among Lamb, Rivers, and Beal. He would probably be outside the lottery with Terrance Ross.

Not saying I think he is worse than those guys.

I still say around 15. I don't know that I would take him before Rivers, Lamb, or Beal .. not to mention all the SF's, PF's and C's in this draft. 15 is about right.

It's pretty close between those four. They're all in the same ball park, imo.

Pretty damn good thinkin' alike, Cy. Many may find that extremely disappointing.

You did, however, forget Hood .. is he injured or something?

Hood is staying in college so he can get his revenge on MKG. The Pro's can wait on the man who is going to revolutionize the mid range jump shot.

You make me laugh all the time. You're a good poster ... AND my sons are always looking over my shoulder saying, "who's that fat guy we're always seeing on your computer, dad?".
