Following potential 2012 draftees

I would too. I spoke with a scout this past Sunday (not Jazz) that quickly mentioned that Damian's numbers against the rest of the lottery-maybes is very impressive. He has the highest 3pt% and FT%. His comment was, 'we feel that will translate.' He knew the numbers off the top of his head and he kind of lit up when speaking about him. I think a whole lot of people want Weber St in the tourney.

Did you ask if he considers Lillard lottery-worthy?

Moe Harkless is going pro according to Givony. He definitely appears to have a lot of potential. Seems like the player who could use another year in college and add some bulk and shooting. I hate when guys like this go pro after a year.

Not as much as I do, guarantee it. :p

He said most everyone is curious at this point .. as in maybe, but we want to see how he does against top teams. It's always a concern. There are high school kids that average 35 ppg that get no Div1 offers because of their competition. I think they're looking at Lillard seriously, though. I bet he goes 13 - 17.

Lillard had 22pts, 4ast, 4stl and 2rbs against the mighty Vikings of Portland St tonight. Didn't shoot that well from the field but was 9/10 from the ft line. Have I mentioned I wanna see this kid in the tourney?

Monster game. Dare we say he has the "it" factor.

Alright....I'll be the black sheep here.
He did get all that in 39 minutes and he also had 4 TO's.

I think the question about Lillard, other than competition, is whether he's a true PG or a SG/Combo. Sometimes, when these kids are on a less-than-elite team, they are forced to become scorers. Other times, they just really are shoot-first guards. Hard to say playing on a team that needs him to score .. and playing bad teams.

Again, I think he'll be good.

There's no question there's some major question marks. Having said that, 1 of 4 from three doesn't bother me because his season is at 44%. His 4to's doesn't bother me because he averages 2.1, iirc.

Yup, those are the two question marks with him...as opposed to the 72 with Marshall.

He leads all PG's in assist/TO ratio, so that's turning the ball over definitely is not one of the knocks on him.

This pains me spycam, it really does, but I think you are thinking of Machado. Who WAS leading the nation in that category about a month ago. It is now Kendall Marshall.

As for Lillard's assist-to-turnover .. not in the top 100.

Really? Huh...wonder where I read that. I haven't spent much time researching Machado, so not sure how I mixed that up.

4 TO's as the team's primary ball handler and scorer isn't bad.

Exactly, for the number of times the kid has the ball in his hands over 39 minutes, I'll take 4TO's especially considering how super low his TO's typically are, again, considering his usage.
