Following potential 2014 draftees

So Embiid goes top 2, Parker slips to 3 or 4, depending on what Philly prefers. Jazz will end up with one out of Parker, Exum and Vonleh.

If they have a strong preference for Parker, they'll put a deal on the table with #5 + Alec Burks to move up to #3.

Why not #5, #23, and GSW 2017 1st-round pick for #3?

I hate the thought of taking Exum at 5, but taking Exum at 5 >>>>> trading the 5 and Burks for Parker.

Exum has the most potential to become a star other than the top-3 in this draft. At #5 if you can get the 4th best player who has star potential, you do it.

The better Smart does in these workouts the better our chances are of grabbing Exum......

That dont make SJF feel any better (he doesnt like exum at all)

Although Bill Simmons may have just scared me into being thrilled with Exum at 5.

Sort of like how i'd be thrilled with a POS coach like Gentry if it means we avoid Boylen.

Basically, all Simmons had to do was float the idea of Burks + 5 for Jabari, and I'll be happy with any of the consensus top 10 at #5 if we can avoid that nightmare scenario.

If you have a chance to draft an All Star like Parker, you don't pass on it to play roulette with 3 other picks.

I just said this in another thread, but I don't think the Jazz will be successful in trading for Parker. He's the safest pick in the top 3, and no GM sitting there is going to take the risk of passing on Jabari Parker for Vonleh or Exum. There's just no reason to do it, unless you need to win now and some team is offering you a 5x All Star.

The Jazz will make their efforts and do their contingency planning, but when it's said and done, I think they're keeping their pick at #5 and taking Vonleh, Exum or Randle. There's a slim chance they trade back a spot or 2 for Gordon or Smart.

As much as everyone's talking themselves into Vonleh right about now, Randle plays a full gear or two faster than Vonleh. There aren't that many players as big and quick as Randle is.

How many PFs can really do this...

I approve this message.

To all my fellow Aaron Gordon fanz, here is my attempt of him in a Jazz jersey. Hope you enjoy!

If none of "the four" top drop, I'm all in on Randle. I'm worried A Gordon is Vesely and Vonleh is just a step slow and raw. I watched his scouting video and he seemed to travel as much as favors did/does

A guy I am becoming more interested in is Saric. I didn't know much about him but a few of the clips I've seen make me wish the Jazz had another lottery pick. Damn you GS.

Embiid's back is fine according to Chad Ford, he witnessed a private workout a couple of weeks ago. Says Embiid has added muscle and looked great. I would trade Kanter or Favors + 5 for a shot at Embiid. I might even throw in another first. LOL I know I am being hypocritical. However I think a healthy Embiid is the best player in the draft. Then if the Jazz were able to get another pick and draft Gordon.

Embiid
Favors
Gordon

Man no one would score against us. LMAO;)
