Following potential 2014 draftees

ok i am souring on saric. he will be lucky to be top 20 this year if this keeps up.

I will follow him closely this year in Europe. He has really a great potential. He is an entirely different player against his peers but for some reason he can't show much in the upper levels.

I wish he made a deal with Barcelona like Hezonja. He might be shorn of international limelight even if he plays well.

Turkey - Serbia Just started. Micic on the first 5.

This was the fifth or sixth game I watched Vasilije Micic. While I like his BBal IQ and the leadership, I don't see the hype. He might drop back to the second round, mid-second even. Some make Jason Kidd comparisons but he reminds me Farmar a lot more. Maybe it's his ears.

One prominent thing he has though is his remarkable ball handling, he has decent quickness too and with his ball handling he rarely loses his dribbling and he can easily go inside and outside of the paint to create scoring opportunities for himself and his team mates.

BTW, I just realized he played with 16 pts and 8 rebounds today. It doesn't say much since it was against Belgium but I wish I could watch the game.

Tomic was good again btw. I actually think he could be a top bench big man for any team in the NBA. But I'm 100% sure he will prefer to be one of the good centers of the European basketball with better contracts rather than being a bench big in the NBA.

Perhaps, but after reading the Spanish 56% tax on athletes he could be swayed over here for a lot less than we think.

Jordan Clarkson from Mizzou is an under the radar (at least nationally) pg to keep an eye on. He's a transfer from Tulsa who sat out last year. By nature, he's probably more of a scoring combo guard so it will be interesting to see how much of a playmaker he is, but practicing against Pressey everyday last year couldn't have hurt. Most Missouri fans seem to think he'll go pro after this year if he lives up to the hype. Hadn't seen his name mentioned yet so I thought I'd throw it out there.

Here's a video of a workout he was in from a year ago.

^looks pretty good 1vs0.

He scored 16.5 ppg at Tulsa as a freshman, so he's not totally unproven... but the SEC will definitely be a good test for him. Draftexpress currently has him listed as the 40th best junior, but they also list him as a SG. He's 6'4, 185... so he's on the small side for SG, but he's got ideal size for a point. Will just depend on how much he's improved his handles and if he can run a team which certainly remains to be seen. Looks like he's going to get that chance this year to show what he can do.

@PBAJ

If you had to pick right now... who would you take #2?

PBAJ? Peanut butter and jelly?
Probably a glass milk
