I agree and the more I see Embiid the more I think he is the number one guy. He has that it factor. Just watch how he battles and man can he defend the basket. I think his offensive game is behind but I really do believe he has the potential to be a star. The more I see him the more I want to trade any one on the Jazz roster to get him.

Wiggins is getting better. People have to realize that he is trying to play with his teammates and not be a ball hog. Kansas has a lot of guys who want to get their stats too. I still go away wanting more out of Wiggins while Embiid just gives me the WOW factor when I watch him.
 
2 way players are worth their weight in gold. to often players just want to score and seldom give any more then passive effort on defense. embiid is the best 2 way player in this draft. wiggins is also a good 2 way player. smart is one of the best on the ball defenders also.

this is where Parker drops off. he is a great offensive player, although we are seeing a drop off now teams are game planning against him, but he is not a great defender.

I don't know enough about exum to say.

Gordon looks like he might be a good defender but lacks some the offensive polish but if he gets that polish he might be good but I don't see the desire defensively.

Would love it if somehow we get the 4th pick and teams talked themselves out of Parker and he somehow grabbed him there.


That would still be like winning the lottery in any other year.

Maybe he isn't strong enough yet and his handle isn't ready. But his jumper is there and his finishing ability will continue to improve as he becomes stronger.

I agree my only thing with Wiggins is i dont see the same explosion freakish athletic ability yet that i saw on highlights of him from hs..Maybe hes not giving it hes all there in fear of injury?

I disagree, name me a high quality Center in the last drafts who wasn't a Senior who had such developed inside moves like Embiid?

Jazz have almost no chance of getting the 4th pick. If they finish 4th, then the top 3 would have to be drawn in the lottery, and I doubt they end up that low. Its top 3 or 7-10 at this point I think.

At this point, it seems like that could be a reality. I could see Wiggins, Embiid and Randle taken before Parker.
 
Here's a question.
Based on how good Burks seems to be would anyone take Exum?
Exum and Burks seem to be very similar type players.
Would anyone rule Exum out at this point?
 
fwiw, I am taking some of this time away to delve into my relationships and networking some good inside tracks for the upcoming draft. I won't be around much, at all, but will, for a time, when it's all going down.
