Randle: Average size with small wingspan who relies on strength to overpower smaller players and is awful defensively. Sounds like a real winner in the NBA.
Not that explosive either.

I think Kanter will be better than Randle.

Hmm, I thought of Kanter when I read this. Im sure you didn't mean it that way....![]()
And Randle will never have Kanter's shooting stroke. I'm really excited to see the Kanter 3 ball next year.
Btw.. we haven't even scratched the surface of Kanter's upside.. that same upside I spoke about pre-draft.
Randle's game is about quickness and power.
Yeah... he quickly powers his way into a packed paint and then turns the ball over.

Randle wishes he had Kanter's size.

A good article describing why Randle will likely fall on draft day:

A writer for SBNation compares Randle's length to that of the starting PF's in the NBA:
NBA execs and scouts talk about Randle:
I find it really interesting that only 3 NBA PF's have a wingspan as short as Randle's, and yet, two of them are arguably the two best PF's in the game. But he doesn't have Griffin's athleticism (not even close), nor does he have Love's skill set (as a freshman Love averaged about 18ppg, 11rpg, 2apg in college and was shooting 36% from 3). He'll never have Griffin's athleticism, and while you could say "Well, he could develop K-Love type skills!", couldn't you then say that about anyone? Love is a special player. He's the outlier of un-athletic bigs who lack length.
I love his motor, fire, somewhat unique ability to attack in transition and so on. But Randle has some major holes in his stock.
**Nickkk, that's your que to come in and say these are all reasons he should play SF**
