In other words, Calipari isn't a good coach.
U caught that huh?
In other words, Calipari isn't a good coach.
I buy pretty good if I see a full season of non mediocrity defensively by him. Not there yet.
Ty Corbin?
How much King's basketball do you watch?
Some quarters occasionally. Nothing I see is really good, and people I trust say he's improved, which I can see. But he's not special. Like a top 10 interior defender.
These are in no particular order:
Coward
Tyson
Brow
Gasol
Noah
Bogut
Taj
Iblocka
DJ
Duncan
and of course Carlos Boozer.
Also I prolly forgot someone. And I want to include Gobert asap. But I'm not there yet.
I didn't gather from Cy's statement that he was calling Cousins elite. I took it more as he is no longer a lazy liability on that side of the ball.
Just my take.
I didn't say liability. I said he was average defensively. ANd to convince me that he's good he should show his improvement over a longer stretch of games.
I bet this fuels him.
What do you guys think about Kevon Looney as a combo forward? Matt Harpring could call him Looney Tunes...
Hah? Ya like?
CBS Sports' current mock -- shows the Jazz picking Winslow at #6, passing on Porzingis and Hezonja.

would the sixers really take a 3rd center? I'm sayin Mudiay if they pick first.
I'd say Minny would be a perfect for Mudiay, but Kahn is no longer in charge. He loved drafting PG's.
Don't think we need to worry about Utah picking 6th, BY Jan. 5th, they might be in the #10 slot by winning 4 more games (Philly, Minn, @Minn and Indiana).
As for the 76er's, you draft BPA. There's no guarantee Embiid will recover from his injury and be an all-star. And you need 3 bigs. There's a place for Okafor or Towns.
