What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Can also add Tony Wroten to the tall-skinny-guard-knee-injury list.

Edit: Jamal Crawford too.

Not to go on about this...

Dennis Smith is too nasty, he could've changed the way March Madness plays out if he went to a more legit school.. He really rates very highly thru the classes for PG's in that 6-foot range, he's up there with Jay Williams.

31 and 9 Miami won tho. Yertsuven had 5 blocks.

Seeing plenty of volatility today with these prospects.. Great day of college ball already.

Caleb Swanigan seems to me like a player the Jazz would take a flier on in the 2nd. He still reminds me of Ike Diogu but he's way more consistent at this point and his 3pt shot might be his saving grace.

PJ Dozier and Yante Maten both with strong showings and look like top-40 types, I'd take Maten over Swanigan(Cameron Oliver over both).

Dennis Smith is crazy. So good. so gifted. so much fun to watch.

John Collins is ridiculous. throwback PF of the 80s and 90s. back to the basket and simply unstoppable. might be the best scorer in the country, but rebounds just as well. he catches on the low block and is so decisive with his moves, usually aggressive going toward the basket. under control, puts so much pressure on the defense. 75% FT shooter getting 10 FTAs per 40.

ESPN had him at 4-stars and all the other services 3-stars, some had him at 6'8" though and now he looks 6'10. Wake/Manning should try and take as much credit for his development as possible but he was really just an underrated gem all along... Always passed the eye test with some of the stuff you just described.

yep, he's looking every bit of 6'10". will be interesting to see how he measures come draft time.

Indiana has 6'10 big Clifton Moore committed next year from PA, his mom is cousins with Julius Peppers. espn's got him rated at 3-stars but I think he's got pro potential.

He's cousins with Jordan Tucker, one of the highest rated '17 recruits(top-50) left on the board, and IU's after him also(, they're the perceived favorite. If they land Tucker these cousins will be key players the next few seasons.

Moore's a player that didn't have much of any attention and all of a sudden got flooded with offers this summer... He's definitely at least a 4-star talent.

Reminds me a bit of the 4-star Reggie Perry who I pointed out the other day in the C/O 2018.

With De'Ron Davis they're pretty well prepared to absorb the loss of Thomas Bryant.

I've got no data to back this but it seems to me like of all the states, Florida's the most likely to find some unfathomably underrated gems late in the recruiting process. Part of it certainly has to do with the influx of international players at some of the power schools there..

Sandro Mamukelashvili being 3-stars by Scout is the type of **** im talking about. His coach Kevin Boyle, who coached Embiid, D'Angelo Russell, Ben Simmons and many others thinks he's got potential to be a 1st rd pick.

Corey Sanders at Rutgers is a player I identified here as my favorite 3-star in the class of 2015. He's a future pro and underrated Florida kid.

6'6" and < 190 lbs

Good lord, how many of those players exist? I guarantee any player drafted at 6'6 below 190 will fill out that frame to over 190 in a year or two. I dont know if anyone in DX databse of current NBA players had those measurements.

The Timberwolves are foolish for taking Dunn so high, should've went with Chriss or Murray who fits much better next to some of these top PG's..

this right here is why PGAB is a valuable poster on this site and anybody who doesn't want him here or gives him a hard time for coming back can suck a dick. You wouldn't have been able to pay me to watch a Rutgers game - never heard of this Sanders kid. looking at his numbers, appears to be incredibly inconsistent, but obviously has some talent. two 25 point games in the last five. i'm not convinced looking at his sophomore numbers he's a future pro at 6'2", but i'll be tuning in to Rutgers to check him out.

He's got no help at Rutgers whatsoever, he's 6'2", crazy athletic, tough and has a nasty crossover tho. u can throw him lobs like a swingman. Had a few SC top-10 moments as a FR. he's the best player Rutgers has had in a long time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlpLXtAQUXY 39pts 8rebs 12 asts last year as a Fr.

This game-winner was from last week. He's on the list of PG's i'd take over Briscoe too.

Calvin Hermanson of St Mary's once again has more points than the other team at halftime, right now he's got 14 and San Diego has 9 with 18minutes to go in the 2nd half.

He's a gunner like Niels Giffey -- not really relevant to this thread. funny stuff tho. St. Mary's is the wrong team to play on an off-night.

Give me a break. If you watched every player he talks about you'd be watching over 200 minimum. Then he brags about them like he predicted something. Dude talks about so many dudes it's extremely easy to look back and bump the posts.

You don't get it. The more he talks about, the better. I don't have to watch every one. In recorded about 8 games today. After the wife falls asleep, I'll watch the five games i couldn't get it during the day. doesnt even matter if he's right. Point them out- if they are legit talents, I'll try to watch.

Yeah. I do like that. Its always cool to try and identify the sleepers and since by definition those players don't get media attention, it helps when someone gives the heads up.
