Following potential 2017 draftees...

couple thoughts

OG is the player who will rise up because of his testing at the combine. Athletic wise he test off the charts but his basketball skills are nowhere near ready to be a pro. I see him as nothing more then a defensive specialist at this point

MOnk is a solid player. Will be a a valuable 6th man. Type who could be a 6th man of the year awar winner multiple times. Think Jamal Crawford. To undersized to guard 2 guards in the nba, to get his shot off over bigger defenders and lack great ball handling and decision making to play the point guard. He be a kick butt 6th man because of those 3 qualities I just mentioned.
 
jazz fans in "Their Mock Drafts" and rankings all have TJ Leaf way to low. This is a kid who is going be a very good nba player. He would look great next to Gobert since Leaf can stretch the floor and Gobert can only make shots 3 feet fronm the basket. Love to see Gobert learn the baby hook shot with both left and right hand. That would make him much more of a dangerous player.imo
 
Positional Big Board: Too hard to do an actual big board with the disparity of bigs to wings in this draft. Feel like it's top heavy with PG's then just a ton of good big men with some wings/guards mixed in far and few between.

You may be right, but if he's not going to be ready to play full contact in time for training camp and the start the season at full strength, teams that are impatient might let him slide a few spots.

Somehow I doubt he gets past Milwaukee at 17.

Good list. I'm not high on Justin Jackson either, but didn't have the nuts to push him to the end of the first round.

You're really carrying that Kuzma banner.

Jeanne sees himself as a PF rather than a center. He's not heavy or strong enough the play the 5 and may never be a la Nerlens Noel.

Wilson is a huge wildcard, as is Giles.

If I did a mock I wouldn't have him going past 21 (think the Thunder would take him if he fell that far). I just think some team will take him wanting his length, shooting, and "nba ready" ability. Bulls @16 have a long history of taking big time and experienced college players.

The PF position is so wide open IMO. Super hard to rank. Same with center.

He does seem more agile, but "way better" I'm not sure.
I see some Aaron Gordon in his game which I like.

This kid looks like an interesting prospect, but I would be cautious about saying he is better than Bolomboy, especially overall.
It doesn't sound like Wiley has a 3 point shot, oven a mid range game for that matter. That is one of the things I love about Bolomboy is
his overall skill set, and potential.

Wiley looks like a athletic stud, but without the shooting potential and one year Bolomboy has I'm not sure he is the answer.
Worth a look though!

It depends. He has more offensive upside than all of them easily. He has heart to take clutch shots, it is hard to stop him once he is hot. He has triple threat and so on.

I wouldnt pick him 1 if i dont have a decent PG. If i had a certain need in 2 spot, i would take him in a heartbeat.

ONly thing is i dont know how his personality is. Whether he is competitive or has determination to grow, to work on his defense and blabla...

But as raw talent and potential goes, i see noone better than him in this draft.

You could easily say he has more shooting potential. A lot of scouts point to ft % and mechanics as better long teem indicators, both of which Wiley is better.

250 6'10" with 5% body fat. Freaky athletic and moving very well laterally. Very strong! He also has some rudimentary skill that can be developed. I think his skill level and BBIQ is much higher than players with similar profile that have entered the league before(Biyombo, Drummond, DeAndre Jordan). His knock is that he's not as long as them. But that's why I'm putting him at the end of the lottery and not earlier. His rebounding needs improvement too. I think in due time he will be able to credibly defend 1(maybe 2?)-through-5.

He's not a very good finisher for his size he shot 59.9% from the field in college. He's an undersized center essentially. Sure, he is athletic as hell and tested out well. We need a stretch-four and he is FAR from that.
