Talks between Lakers guard Kent Bazemore and Jazz "have moved past preliminary stage, but sides are not close to a deal," per ESPN - Jody Genessy
Looks like the FO might agree with you.

I just went through the play-by-play for every Pacers playoff game. There wasn't a single instance where Lance shot the ball 5 times in a row.
There were 4 instances where Lance was responsible for at least 4 consecutive terminal possessions (possessions ending in a shot, shooting foul or turnover). 2 of these were 4 consecutive possessions, and 2 were 5 consecutive possessions (both had turnovers mixed in...thus no 5 shots in a row). In only one of these 4 instances did Lance score less than 1 point per possession, and overall he scored 19 points on the 18 possessions, drawing 4 shooting fouls in the process. The Pacers averaged about 2 points per 100 possessions less than this during the playoffs (105.6 v. 103.7).
Unfortunately, LP Broadband doesn't let me watch playoff games, so I can't check if he used these possessions without passing. He didn't ever shoot 5 times in a row though, and he was pretty productive when he used 4+ consecutive possessions.
I don't remember what playoff game it was and 5 times was an estimate. Nit Pick over a small detail. Obviously, we don't agree. My point is that Stephenson is immature and a lose cannon. There is a reason why multiple teams aren't jumping to sign him and that he was 1st round talent but got drafted in the 2nd round. I am not willing to take a chance on a guy with a history of being a knucklehead. It is obvious that you would. I am not arguing that Stephenson isn't a talented player. I am as sure as I can be that he is a distraction on the team.
Parsons is not signing a contract until the Rockets either Sign Melo or realize they won't get him.
If they sign Melo........Parsons can be had. Until that time we just don't know.
