That will happen less than you think. Especially if Kanter/Favors are looking to grab the ball. Overall, a great rule for Utah. How many of those FT's did we make? Are we even in the game without those?

We saw potential and hope for the youth, no more Big Al, no more vets over the youth...
 
I was amped, but I was still disappointed with Corbin's rotations in the fourth. And that tempered my enthusiasm.

He will grow with this team. I think he has as much to learn and as much to improve on as any member of our core. Only time will tell if he improves enough. I think he is already better then last year.
 
I was at the game last night and it was one of the better games I've seen, even though we lost. My question to you guys is, how bad did the fouls look on TV? At the game almost every single foul on Durant looked like a flop or a bad call. I can think of maybe 4 fouls that were legit fouls, the rest were jokes. One in particular came when Harris put up SOLID D and made Durant miss the shot. After he missed and the Jazz got the rebound, THEN they called the foul. It was awful looking at the game.

Rush, Marvin, biedreech will all return from injury. A lineup of Jamal tinslye, rush, Jefferson, Marvin and biedreech is still possible.

But for now I will live for the moment and enjoy it.

Rush and Marvin stay on the second unit and Biedrins will get minimal time if any at all.

It looked bad on tv too. Harris was very lucky he didn't get a T for his reaction. Nba is still the nba.

Watched the game on tape delay late last night.

1. Great game in the second half for Burks. First half thought he settled for jumpers, then he found his rhythm. Loved his aggressive play in the second half, he was just relentless in getting to the hoop. He needs to get some more air under that floater or it's not going to drop much. If he fixes that it could be a big time weapon in his game. Also if he wants to be great he needs to fix his outside, and midrange shots. Burks seems to have regressed. It looked bad in preseason and nothing changed last night. Too bad Hayward can't give him his shooting ability, and burks share his shot creativity with Hayward.

2. Was pleased with the games of Favors and Kanter. Loved Favors monster block on Perkins dunk attempt. Thought that the team should've tried harder to get them the ball down low a little more. Was happy to see Kanter getting 10 boards. This seemed to be a problem in the preseason.

3. Hayward never got into the flow of the game due to a little foul trouble. Seemed a little impatient and tried to force the issue. Was very disappointed he tried to be too aggressive in the second half looking more for his shot rather then being a facilitator and playmaker for his team. When he figures this out the tank might be off as his offense will find him if he does this and he'll shoot a higher %.

4. Gobert showed some promise. He's a okie and it showed at times. He looked like a natural rebounder and defensive deterrent. He also looked lost at times and he might be the worst ft shooter in the league lol. D Jordan might have some competition those were some kind of ugly form. Wow.

5. Good game by Harris. Why didn't he do this in preseason. He has one hell of an ugly shot, and every time he shot I rolled my eyes, and then it would go in lol. He looked like a guy with nothing to lose. He looked like there wasn't a care in the world to hinder his game he just played ball and looked like he had fun doing it, but have a hard time seeing him drop that shot on a consistent basis. Still not sold on him belonging in the nba.

Overall, I'm wondering if we are really as bad as we thought.

Lol. Looks like I picked a fight with a clique on here. I feel there are a lot who see what I'm saying as making sense. I'm not saying anything crazy. You all are being very petty and whiney. Telling people not to call OKC contenders when they aren't... Yeh I'm a real ****ing ****

from the group of posters it is not a click. You are just coming off bad. To be honest, with your insessant harping on it and your frequent *** **** ******* ** you do seem like one. I do not think you are but you are coming off that way.

Btw, there is a very good chance that OKC will contend for the title, so I will continue to call them contenders.
