What's new

Game #31. Jazz at Memphis. Monday 6pm mtn

Memphises offense would fit Kanter nicely. Think they'd give us their unprotected 1st and some more for Kanter?

I don't really care much about wins this year. The Jazz need to find out if Kanter is good or not. He needs minutes with Burke AND Favors. I don't understand why Ty doesn't play them together at all.

Because Corbin needs to win now and if he wants to coach somewhere in the future, he has to give himself the best shot possible. Playing Kanter won't do that, which is why Lindsey needs to replace him. Toss the mf'r out of Utah, he don't give a crap about who Utah gets in the draft. All he cares about is saving his own a.., which is even more reason to get him out of town.

Agreed. I will admit that the last few weeks the Jazz have been much improved. I can't give to much credit to Corbin as the whole difference has truely been Trey.
Yesterday I watched the game when Kanter started against the Bobcats last year(was still on the dvr) He was such a different player. It honestly pissed me off watching it. He looked confident and powerful. If you watch him now he looks like crap. I hope its not the doings of Corbin.

The main thing is that the Jazz management don't give too much credit to Corbin....otherwise we risk to see still Corbin with the Jazz in the next years.

Everyone knows I'm a kanter fan, but this was one of his worst shooting nights of the year. Hayward played really well despite the loss.

And burks too

So Alec had been playing really good lately (averaging 17 points per game on the road trip, with good shooting percentages and playing team ball)....... What is his reward?

16 minutes against memphis because he had 2 turnovers...... How about letting the guy who has been arguably the best player on the team lately play through it a little when struggling.

Meanwhile, jefferson 36 minutes..... SMD

Because Ty Corbin wants a job.

He wins nothin by "developing" players for the next coach.
He wins nothin by tanking so the next coach can have a super star.

He wants to win and win now. That's why the vets play so much.

Ty's job is to survive. Whether here or to get a job elsewhere. His job isn't to do the jazz and their new HC next year any favors.

Thats our man Ty! Love the vets, hate the youngsters. All 5 should get 36 mpg no matter how they are playing. Let 'em play.

According to Harpring last night, RJ has been our most efficient offensive player lately.

And to Locke...

It's no surprise that certain members of the media repeat the same mindless drivel.

Would any of us be surprised if it came out that the Jazz handed some of these guys a script that they had to follow?

Big Al is a double double machine
Millsap plays hard
Hayward does x great and y fine and without him...
And now RJ is suddenly this amazing player. And if anyone suggests that we should maybe take advantage of this tank season to play the vets fewer mins and the young players more then they're uneducated and spoiled fans.

Notice how silent Monson, a long time critic of the Jazz has been recently? Why? He works for the Jazz now. Interesting. Apparently he find nothing wrong with what the Jazz are doing when for 20 years he couldn't find anything right.
