What's new

Game Thread: Grizz @ Jazz Nov. 14th 2016

Hayward's finger is messing with him. This game is not on Hayward anyways.

It's definitely partially on Hayward.

On Hayward for missing fairly easy shots and not looking to force contact.

On Gobert for getting into foul trouble.

On QS for refusing to play Rudy with 5 fouls.

I assume QS benched Rudy for some kind of behavior thing.

Not closing with Rudy when Favors is out is incomprehensible to me. Not being able to rebound late is what killed us in close games last year, makes no sense.

Blech. Half the freaking team out injured again? Gonna be this teams legacy. We could have won it all but everyone had too many ouchies.

Good lord, stfu. He had a bad game.

Great players rise to the occasion when needed. Hayward rarely does. He showed that so many times last season. Can't close out against mid-quality opponents like Charlotte and Memphis. It's ok, though. He's on pace to join Utah's two HOF'ers who **** their pants during the playoffs every season. They never overachieved, nor played up to expectations when it really counted. Empty stats.

Good lord dude. He had a bad game. It happens. This is the dumbest **** I have ever read. Chicken Little hot take.

Hayward had one of the best FG% in the clutch last year of any player.

The offense wasn't the reason why the Jazz sucked in close games. Their defensive rating down the stretch was one of the worst in the NBA, primarily because of the insane amount of offensive rebounds they gave up. Similar story tonight.

Ugly loss. Bizarre decisions by Snyder down the stretch.

Yeah. Why leave Gobert on the bench with only 5 fouls? Even before that, with Favors injured and Gobert in foul trouble and us getting killed on the boards, no minutes for Withey? In the fourth quarter of a close game, no Joe Johnson, even though this is the situation he was signed for?

Gobert probably got benched for throwing his mouth piece. That or he got mouthy with the coaches.
