What's new

Game Tread for game nr. 14 vs Timberwolves, Monday, November 13th, 7pm.

Yup. With five assists. Responsible for more points tonight than our starting PG.

This is not true... Ricky was responsible for many points... none of them for us but he was responsible.

It's sort of bizarre that Mitchell is somehow our best player outside of Gobert, but kinda sweet too. Even if it means a lot of losing this year I am loving his game. He looks special out there.

No, he's our best player, period. He has been since the start of the season. And I agree that even if we lose, with The Don we win. He's gonna bring us a lot of great moments, just like he did in our losing cause tonight.

Lol. Thats a stupid comparison. If DM was given the same leash at Exum hed be playing 12 mins a night.

Quick question...how many games did Dante start his rookie season?

Answer: He started 41, played in all 82 and averaged 22 mins/per. He shot 35%/31%/63%. So your statement is completely false.
Exum had a big leash his rookie season but played like a scared puppy looking to return to his mommy's teat. He'd drive into the lane head down, and run right back out the other side. He passed up shot after shot. To his credit, he did play pretty well defensively. But outside of his summer league performance - and we know that sometimes SL is misleading (case in point, Lyles) - Dante has not shown he can/will be an NBA starter. I just don't see why everyobe clings to this notion that Exum will somehow, some way, turn into a star.

Dante was 3yrs younger than Mitchell is now its a terrible comparison for a tonne of reasons.

Point I was trying to make is you don't need to run down Dante to pump up Mitchell.

Ok, age is a factor. But so is attitude. Some guys are passive like Exum, Hood and Favors. Others are alphas like Mitchell. Exum will never be a #1. He may never be a top-15 PG. He doesn't have a leadership mentality. Can he be a rotation player on the right team? Probably. At the right price, Jazz should keep him as a combo guard off the bench.

Neto looked good tonight... he's just a smart player. Would like to transplant his brain and effort into ABs body.

Mitchell was never always an "Alpha". In his own words he only started beleiving he could make the league last year.

Confidence is a big thing and its been one of Dantes biggest issues. Some of that is on him but imo Quin/Benedict are responsible for some of that also.
