... Exum now has a cushion...

This trade is stupid as hell.

Why does Indy get Teague and we get Hill? So stupid. Why didn't we get Teague?

Because the Jazz want someone who can play off the ball with Exum and guard 2s. The Jazz have been talking to Atl about Teague for almost a year.

nope. I like hill. Is it alright with you if I see the full details before I put hashtags about BELIEVIN' in my sig? Go fanboy all you want.... the others will do the thinking.

Oh is this where you go full jerk because I disagreed with you?

Perhaps you should go back to standing in place of Westbrook and Leonard while others do the thinking for us.

uh oh, Stoked is hurty. You and fishy should cuddle during games. Both so sensitive.

Either Lindsey like George Hill more than Teague or he believes Hill is more likely to like Utah than Teague. Lindsey has a personal connection with Hill as well from his days in SA

Hill can play off the ball and guard 2s, while Exum or Hayward initiate the offense. Teague doesn't work as part of a two-guard front. That's why Atl is trading him in the first place.

The Wajo story from Yahoo...

The Atlanta Hawks are sending guard Jeff Teague to the Indiana Pacers as part of a three-way deal with the Utah Jazz, league sources told The Vertical.
Indiana will send guard George Hill to the Jazz, who are moving the No. 12 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA draft to Atlanta, league sources said.

For salary-cap purposes, the deal won’t be official until July.

For Indiana and Utah, this gives them the starting point guards that they’ve been longing to acquire on the market. With the move, Atlanta is committing to guard Dennis Schroder as its point guard of the future.

Utah is determined to reach the playoffs next season, and Hill gives the Jazz an accomplished and versatile guard without giving up a player.

Teague was eager to be moved and is thrilled to return to his Indianapolis roots. He has one year left on his contract, and the Pacers made the move with the intention of signing him to a long-term deal, league sources said.

Atlanta is planning to negotiate a rookie extension with Schroder this summer too, sources said.

So I can't see that any other pieces are mentioned, and it looks like the Jazz will still draft a player at 12, will they make him put on a Jazz hat? Fly him out for a press conference? Weird.

I like Hill more than Teague, but the cost was too high if all we get back is Hill for #12

lol. this is quite a defense you're mounting.

I suggested signing Al Farouq Aminu to a long term deal for pennies on the dollar multiple offseasons in a row, the imbeciles here hated that idea too.

I expect the Jazz to move 2nd-round picks and Trey Burke at a minimum. Seems like Indiana should be giving up something else in order to get Teague for Hill.
