What's new

GT: Jazz @ Super Sonics | 12/13/15 | 5pm MT

44 wins WOULD be exactly what I was hoping for this season. So yea, that'd be great. But I don't know what you are seeing that makes you think 44 wins.

'People are disappointed we didn't win a game when we were up 16. IDIOTS!!!!!!'

You are full on homer/moving goal posts this year bro.

*Picking #12 after the lottery*
"This was the goal this season all along you fools!!!"

Before the season started I went through every game guessing which games would be wins and losses, and ended up with 45 wins.

At this point I predicted the Jazz would be 9-13. The schedule past mid-December is far FAR easier than what the schedule has been thus far. Just chill.

We've had the 7th toughest SOS so far, are missing Gobert, and should've won tonight and thus should've been sitting at .500 despite that. After tomorrow, we will get warm.

did you factor a Rudy injury into that 44 win record? Cuz i'm betting that no one else did. Ironically, I still think they hit it even with him gone. This team has showed us tons, and it's impressive to see them still in the playoffs after such a gauntlet of a schedule.

Teams get injured. Have to roll with the punches. We weren't exactly lighting the world on fire with Rudy.

I also didn't predict that the West would be pretty crappy at this point, and we still can't make a move up the rankings.

I can't believe how many people are bitching over close losses to elite teams.

Did you think we would be better than Cleveland/GSW/OKC this season? Because those are who all of our close losses are to (aside from the DET opener).

Are you delusional? The Jazz were up 16. They were in control the last minute of the game. They didn't need to let this go to OT. Smarter players wouldn't have let this go to OT. You have a better team on the ropes you knock their *** out! I'm not saying the Jazz should have won because the Jazz are the best ever, I'm saying the Jazz worked (hard) to get themselves into a position to win and then took a giant ****.

I hugely agree with this. This game has nothing to do with moral victory, we threw away a game that was already in our pocket.

people are being morons man. Cant wait to see the fireworks after the Spurs game tomorrow.

Though every fibre of my heart hopes we pull a W, cuz I love trolling spurstalk.

lol bro of course we weren't we had the toughest schedule in the league. You're going full moron bro.

that's it for this thread. Y'all are giving me a headache. Glad Quin agrees with me.

Seriously some of you need to get a grip, to play well and control OKC on their home floor for most of the game without 2 of our starters was a great effort. Anyone expecting a team that sucked ballz until halfway through last season and with still one of the youngest teams in the NBA is delusional. All i expect this season is to see continued improvement all season long as far as competing, and further sorting out what we have with each player. Bottom line is we still don't know exactly how good a lot of these guys will be. I'm moderately happy with things so far given the injuries and youth. Next year should be a playoff and 5/6th seed kind of year and then who knows after that. If you think you're going to go from sucking to expecting to beat a top 4 NBA team on their home court you're a moron.

Hayward made a few dumb mistakes but he is our best and most consistent player. Without him we win 20 games last year and he's now the focal point of opposition defenders and yet still produces. Any other team would love to have him.

Dude, I'm not abandoning ship. I'm just not shrugging it off. The Jazz totally had this game. They lost it, they didn't get beat.

Is there anything the Jazz could do that you wouldn't defend to the death?

Trade for Kobe: "Veteran leadership!"

Blow a 20 point lead to the Sixers: "Young team, growing pains!"

You can criticize a team and still be a fan. Just FYI.

Like honestly, whoever looked at the schedule when it first came out and expected the Jazz to be above .500 at this point was straight-up delusional.

The goal for this part of the schedule, as incredibly difficult as it is, was "survive". And given that the Jazz are still in a playoff spot near the tail-end of it, I'd say mission accomplished.

*after every close loss*

"This was a growing experience, we'll lose less and less of these as time goes on"

I was on board with all of you for awhile. But damn, how about winning some of them?

I would criticize them if they panicked the **** out after this loss like you are.

In the past month, they've lost close games to Cleveland, Golden State, and OKC (2x). They've won close games against Atlanta, Toronto, and Indiana.

3-4 isn't bad considering every last one of those teams is really damn good and the three teams that gave us those 4 losses are all title contenders.
