Hood's Injury

How bad can hyper-extensions get? Cuz that's what he got + add time for the Jazz medical staff's "process"

I already accounted for that in my second post, 2-4 weeks ontop of the injury. We gave Boozers hammy way to much of a hard time back in the day...

This may be a blessing in disguise. Burks is going to get back up to speed quick because we're going to need 27-30 minutes a night from him.

I wonder if we're going to get good info on this injury and an expected timetable. Or maybe they'll just put him straight into the body bag.

RIP Rod Hood... it was all good at times.

Per Andy Larsen they are saying Hyper-extended knee but no tear. MRI tomorrow. Might be a short-term injury.

So basically he's dead.

""Hyperextended knee is what I was told," Quin Snyder said in his postgame presser. "They have to continue to evaluate, but hopefully it's not serious." He didn't want to say for sure they were out of the woods, but it's a good sign. The Jazz confirmed the diagnosis postgame, though say he'll be evaluated again tomorrow. Still, a hyperextension diagnosis this early does seem to rule out a total ACL tear."

Same luck on the video games for me with the Jazz:

Somebody pointed out on reddit that Jabari was diagnosed with hyperextension too, when he tore his ACL. They needed the MRI to confirm there was structural damage in his knee and he had ACL tear ... So we are still not out of the woods here. Hope MRI confirms hyperextension, rather than something more serious.

Weird situation. In my experience when ppl accidentally step on the foot of someone else it's most often some ankle/foot injury.
