What's new

Houston has the best eye cancer centers in the country.

As much as I dislike Fisher, I don't think this has anything to do with him. There was a rumor Houston was going to waive him. If that's the case, why report?

Well McHale didn't know where he was. The first game the Rockets had was in LA against the Clips. Maybe Derek could have rolled out of bed to come down to the Staples Center.

But Fisher is the ultimate professional, all the players respect him.

To me he is the perfect leader of the NBAPU because he typifies the selfish, give me a huge contract and be loyal to me as long as I want to be loyal to you and then I will get angry when my role changes, or the team makes plans without me. He ran to the Warriors because they could pay him the most, within a year he started sulking and whining for a trade. He gets traded to the Jazz and cries for 2 days before KOC flies out to get him. Then the release from the Jazz--Believe what you want about his kid and whatever happened with Larry and Derek to get a release from the Jazz- but it did work out for him to return to the Lakers within days. Have fun in Miami Mr. Fisher, riding a new set of coattails to glory.

Well said.

Keep in mind also, that Fisher told Larry that he didn't even care about basketball and was more worried about his daughter. He wasn't sure where he would go, and would probably even take a year off, but most wanted to be close to NY for his daughter.
Then he signs with the lakers a week later, and it is later revealed that he and Kobe had been talking the whole time.

ESPN is reporting that Fisher is taking the trade really hard.

Yeah, what a professional. Character. He's got it.

ESPN reporters were even feeling sorry for Derek, that he would have to leave a contending team to go to a rebuilding team...that is just so hard! Poor Fisher!

Yeah, what a professional. Character. He's got it. (as long as he gets everything he wants)

This is such a bunch o ****... just another reason I hate Fisher. Rockets should have stuck his *** on the end of the bench if he didn't want to play for them... **** Fisher...

I agree.

You want to see what a REAL professional is? Richard Jefferson. He got traded from the spurs to the warriors, but he showed up and immediately became a part of the team.

Just watch. Fisher will be signed by some contender team (Miami and OKC have been mentioned) and he will win another ring. Fisher will get the last laugh

**** him.

I hope Fisher crashes and burns and takes OKC down with him.

The guy can't play anymore. He was protected by LA, but I don't think he'll help OKC much
