If the Jazz select Brandon Knight........

Then what in the hell do we do with Harris? How easy would it be to move him? What type of player could we get back?

My guess is we would keep Harris, allowing Knight to develop over time. I don't think Knight is ready to be a starting PG in the NBA just yet anyway.

That is why we shouldn't draft Knight. It is a joke. Everyone wants him because of the recent Rose hype. Same coach.
When Knight isn't half the athlete Rose is. He is a horrible passer he has horrible shot selection. And we want take a chance on him why!?

Devin Harris is better than Knight right now. Why draft a guy that is such a huge risk. And Devin Harris isn't going to get the same value back. Almost every team has a point guard for the future. Its a point guard league! That doesn't mean it takes one to win. It means every one has a point guard already.

There are plenty of PG's who don't have playmaking abilities with bad shot selection and score first.

Unless Kanter has bad knees and doesn't check out he should be the draft pick. No question about it. Biyombo should be taken over Knight. Knight is the most overrated player in this draft. Its insane.

But lets go ahead and waste the 3rd pick in the draft on a player who will be our back up point guard for 2 years and he won't even develop enough being the back up.

picking knight at 3 is a bigger problem than thinking about what to do with Harris. He was supposed to be a top 15 draft before ncaa tourney, then he rise to top 10 , then 3 good guys declared to play one more season in ncaa and he rose to top 7. now we got the 3rd pick and he rose to top 3?

I really wanna see knight in utah, but not with 3rd pick, we can try to get him with the second pick adding some players or giving next yrs pick. It is not impossible, but i hope we dont get him with the 3, its worthless

Knight can play 2 guard along side Harris too, its not like we are going to run Harris out of town right away.

DO NOT want to give up next years pick unless we get to #1 ... which isn't happening. Next years class is L-O-A-D-E-D, loaded.

You speak my thoughts. I'm not alone.

I'm tired of this "It's a PG league!" bull****. Yes, Rose is the MVP and there are many great PG's in the NBA right now. But look at the teams that are winning. Miami, Chicago, OKC, and Dallas.

Miami - Bibby/Chalmers - need I say more.
Chicago - Rose is more of a slashing SG, plus he's special. He doesn't count.
OKC - We're seeing how Westbrooke's play hurts his team.
Dallas - Jason Kidd. Old. Barea. Having a good playoffs, but still a role player.

NJ gets Deron and he goes off statistically, yet they still lose.

It's a scoring shooting guard/athletic big man league. Period.

The Jazz have always liked Harris and it sounds like they still do. If they draft Knight, he can spend a year backing up Harris. Harris has only averaged 67 games the past 4 seasons so Knight will get PT, plus you don't have to sacrifice your competitiveness and the games of Jefferson, Favors, Hayward, ect by playing a 19-yr old PG too many minutes.

Trade for Matthews a million times if they'll go for it and if the Jazz aren't trading any picks, Favors, or Hayward. After that, I don't care, or the salary wouldn't work.

I hope they would. They are the only team I can think of off the top of my head who has any immediate need for him.

Millsap for Matthews and Babbit works. I think it has been mentioned already on here. Would you do it?

Knight is comparable to a Brandon Jennings as far as talent. He doesn't belong in Utah. Utah needs a big man like Enes Kanter even though he didn't play this past season and will be rusty.

I think the Blazers have less of a need for PF with Aldridge, and I think Millsap has a place on this team for the long-haul. I don't think he should start anymore and I think his minutes should be cut a little, and I don't think he'll make a stink about it either (in case that's your or anyone's concern). Harris to me CLEARLY has no place on a rebuilding team (realistically, he'll be in his 30's by the time this team is starting to sniff contender and he plays a game reliant on his speed).

But WOULD I trade Sap in that scenario? I don't know. That would depend highly on who's drafted this year.
