What's new

i'm quite disgusted with the NBA refs tonight turning a blind eye to westbrook's actions.

Didn’t actually have a problem with PG last night. Or Adams. Thought they were fine. Didn’t think Felton’s nutslap was intentional.

The only one I thought was out of control and slightly dangerous was Westbrook. He was trying to start **** and escalate things all night. I’m actually surprised with how level headed the Jazz were with his childish antics. Would’ve been perfectly reasonable for somebody to knock his *** out with all the stuff he was mixing up with.
Ingles was clearly trying to start **** most of the game.....

Can you really not see the hypocrisy over whining about Westbrook when you praise Ingles for "getting into PG's head"?

No, I really think he was just waiting to come into the game then he walked by Gobert and they had a short exchange. The end.
Lol bro you need to rewatch what happened. After Rudy got hit in the sack as he walks back toward the Utah bench Westbrook leaves the scorers table (meaning he was not in the game) and gets in Goberts face and then slaps his arm at him. Gobert proceeds toward the bench and says something (probably vulgar) to Westbrook. Gobert ends up with the T and somehow even with a review they manage not to call Westbrook for anything.

This isn't a case of Utah fans just being whiny. Head over to the NBA subreddit and you'll see the vaaaaast majority of fans from across all teams think the league ****ed up here. I think Ellis is right, you're just arguing for the sake of it at this point.

Ingles was talking **** - not starting ****. There is a difference between talking trash and starting fights.

He didn’t have to get physical once to get into his guys head. PG swung an elbow at Royce. Felton ball-slapped Rudy. Westbrook basically punched Jae. Big difference between their play and Jingles play.

Ingles was clearly starting ****. Walking over the out of bounds line while a player is getting ready to inbound the ball is one of the definitions of trying to start ****.

Lets not forget after the Westbrook/Rudy thing, Westbrook made a few other 'questionable' plays. The takedown of Rubio on a rebound as well as the frustration foul on Crowder that led to his ejection. If the refs had done their job and followed the rules, neither of those things would have happened and the game probably wouldn't have degenerated into a brawl in the fourth quarter.

Yes, I've rewatched it numerous times. It was nothing.

And yes, it's a case of Utah fans being whiny.

I bet if you went to a OKC board they would be bitching about the refs favoring the Jazz. It's super annoying to see either fan base say these things.

The refs called Westbrook for his 3rd foul in the first half when he didnt even foul Rubio, his teammate did. I guess they were favoring the super-star Rubio there?

He absolutely fouled Rubio on that play, with his lower body. It was the first and most significant contact on that play.

Jingles trash talk was nowhere near the childish level of Westbrook’s behavior last night.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree and you can get back to arguing with somebody else.

Ingles was doing much more than trash talk, he was physically getting into players during deadball action and trying to goat people into pushing him back by walking into them. This is clearly a case of homer glasses on your part as you see everything Ingles does as being justified or within what acceptable because you like him and he is on your team, but similar tactics by Westbrook and you are up in arms over the sportsmanship aspect of it.

And just to be clear, I'm not complaining about Ingles. I think both teams are playing playoff basketball. ***** going to get weird and wacky and probably cross some lines. It's not big deal and nothing to cry about and whine for suspensions.

Joe Ingles was doing borderline Lance Stephenson things during game 4 short of blowing into someone's ear.

My problem was that Westbrook was clearly out of control and borderline dangerous with how he was playing. I’m fine with him playing hard and going at guys with 100% effort and energy. Just felt like he got real close to crossing the line between hard basketball and dirty play because he’s frustrated. The officials basically called out everyone else for ticky tack stuff when he was a major instigator. Don't want to see anybody get hurt because of dirty play and I don’t think the officials have the balls to hold him accountable.

Maybe I should just post a ton of porn to Jazzfanz. Is that what Bulletproof would do? That's not nearly as bad as having your own opinion.

Yall I'm terribly sorry for having my own opinion on a message board. It must be super inconvenient to actually have to discuss something that goes against how you see something.

I will just follow Bulletproof's example and just post a bunch of porn on a family site, because that's what forums are for.

Sweet burn!
I'm just confused as to the purpose of a sports message board. Is it to discuss your opinion on sports related topics or is it to blast a family site with porn? Cause I mean I'm getting blasted for the opinion part so I must be doing something wrong.

Lol come off it. You've been blasting everyone who disagrees with you in this thread, calling them 'whiners and criers.'
