Yeah probably not, simply because Bogdan has two years left plus RFA rights. Which is why I still prefer Hood to Fournier.

Vlade loves him... he's also good and young enough to grow with the core... I saw someone saying he should be considered rookie of the year... Kings homers, but still... they love him lots.

I hate the guy as much as the next jazz fan but Hayward was freaking good. He did a lot more than Hood and was a good defender.

Hood does one thing and he does it sort of efficiently. He is a below average defender... someone could argue average but he’s been worse this year imo.

Hood and Hayward aren’t a discussion. ... like at all.
I’d take Hayward back in a trade that didn’t send out RG or DM.

Speaking of Kangggsss... they just moved Bogdan into the starting lineup and moved George Hill to the bench.

I am sure he is enjoying his time in Sac so much.

He is actually two months older than Hood, but yeah, I'm sure they like him and it'd be weird to trade a guy like him who has more years left than Hood.

Dude. Grow a mf backbone!
Lost all respect for Doucheward, but from an improvement standpoint I’d take him back. Not take him back and have it be like it was, take him back with RG and DM clearly asserted as the alpha dogs.

Ahhh... i knew he was older, but not that old.

Generally Euro guys need a year to adjust and are much better in year 2... I would still expect some significant improvement and he's already pretty good. The Kings may ruin him though.

All day, everyday!

Hood could easily have a breakout year a shoot 45% from 3 and be one of the better scoring peices. And there is a great chance of signing him for unders

Hood would be an absolutely perfect fit if he could move the ball.

I'd trade and take him back so we could DNP CD his arse for a couple of months.

They were pretty bad, but AK, Millsap, and others were good. D-Will was fine.

I think a Boozer Okur frontcourt would get lit up in today's NBA. You couldn't go small on Booze because he'd murder guys on the offensive glass. I think teams would put a big wing on Okur and live with him posting up.

Okur and Niko are different though. Outside of being white guys that can shoot I don't see a ton of similarities.

That Okur, Boozer, AK, DWill lineup would rebound the hell out of the ball, which covered a lot of sins defensively. Teams would have to adjust defensively to keep us off of the offensive boards which slowed down transition offense against the Jazz. Unfortunately, the Lakers were even better at rebounding the ball.

Dude, help D. The league wasn't lumbering post-up players then, either. It was sure nice to face the team that had one in 2007, but Memo's performance against Yao is immaterial to his ability to protect the rim or really be effective in team defense in a general sense.

Memo was terrible at team defense.

Whatever man.

He definitely can move the ball. I think he is just currently pigeonholed in a role because of how badly the Jazz lack anyone other than Mitchell and Hood who can score the ball.
If Mitchell can defer open shots for passes for Rubio jumpers, then Rodrod doesn’t seem to have as much of an excuse.

Hood is closer to CJ Miles than Hayward.

I never said he wasn't. We need to trade Hood.

But Donovan Mitchell is already better than Hayward ever was. The Jazz are set with DM and Gobert. They're in great shape going forward as long as they don't do something stupid like overpaying to keep Hood and/or Favors around.

I'm not against a top pick btw. If we get one it will be great. I just don't think tanking is a desperate necessity since we already have DM, Gobert and have options financially going forward.

Warriors had steph Klay green but they still wanted to add KD.

Rudy and DM are great to start with but it definitely needs some help unless we want to top out as a 5-8 seed most years. We can slide and get that missing piece and be so much more... or win a few extra meaningless games and pray to hit on the next Rudy, Giannis, or DM.

After tonight I think it’s fairly clear the playoffs ain’t happening. Got a team on the backend of a back to back and just get blown out.
