What's new

It's happening bros...

They probably want to move Novak for any expiring they can get just to clear his contract off the books for next season. Evans is another player they may want to move, just to do right by him. I'd like to see Jeremy at least get some playing time with another team. He's not a great fit in Quin's offense, but he does have value. Just a 2nd-rounder would get a deal done.

The Jazz can keep Evans as an end of the bench type of guy. He won't get many minutes anywhere really.

I'd like to see Evans head east. Play for a team that can give him minutes.

There is still a lot of garbage out east and quite a few tankers out there. He would probably get minutes in Denver next year.

I bet he will be awesome in Europe. He is one of those guys that should probably be playing over there and making a great career for himself. Kind of like Thurl Bailey did.

David Locke @Lockedonsports

4:48 minutes to the deadline and I am going to give you some food for thought in the next few tweets . ........

David Locke @Lockedonsports

Since Dec 22nd (25 games) Jazz def rating with Enes Kanter on the floor is 99.3 Jazz def rating with Enes Kanter off the floor 104.3

David Locke @Lockedonsports

Last 25 games (Since @ Memphis 12/22) Jazz defense with Rudy Gobert on floor is 102.3 With Gobert on the bench 102.3

^Locke pimping Kanter

Kanter ain't goin anywheres

He's no taking into account who is playing along with Kanter. Makes it sound like it's an all-Kanter effort. Sadly, I think a deal won't get done as Locke's kind of like the bridge between the Jazz FO and fans. If there really was something brewing he would have kept his mouth shut, ugh.

I will be surprised if Lawson isn't traded. If a dude is skipping practice and they're blowing up the team one would think he'd be moved.

Kings traded for Andre Miller. George Karl Loves that dude. Prolly wants him to be an assistant after he retires this year too. They sent Ramon Sessions to Washington for him.

Andre Miller, the non-All Star HOF'er, what an example of hard work and consistency.

The fact KOC is in town leads me to believe a deal is now even less likely to happen. Is anyone more reluctant to pull the trigger than KOC?

Honestly I would rather have someone like that middleton kid anyway. I like Thomas but I don't think he would be good in Quins system.

I think Thomas would make the most positive impact on the team. Middleton is nice, but who would he replace? He can back up Hayward, and take some of Burks and Hood's minutes. Thomas would replace Burke. Thomas is an efficient 20 pts a night kind of player. Burke is a **** 12 pts a game kind of guy. That's a straight up increase of 8 points. And I don't think he would be any worse at defending or running the offense.

Come on Dennis, get us Thomas. Can you imagine Thomas replacing Burke as the 6th man? My God. That's would increase our offensive rating by like 6 points.

I'd rather have Trey (and I hate Trey). Thomas takes even MORE shots per36 than Trey. The reason Dante has moved into the starting lineup is so Hayward can have more touches. There were often long stretches when Gordon would barely get the ball. Thomas is a ball-dominant player. The ball would stop in his hands in Quin's offense. I guess we could move Dante to SG for the rest of the season, but I don't know if that would be best for the long-term future of the Jazz.

I think Middleton and Hayward would start on the wings. So Middleton would replace Jingles.

He takes more shots because he scores A LOT more. That's like complaining Melo is too good offensively.
