What's new

Jabari Parker could be had fairly cheap

Everyone wants LeBron, KD, Kawhi, etc but it is not reasonable. Everyone wants an upgrade. It is possible that our best option is not making a lot of changes this year and that waiting one year to make bigger moves is smarter.

And we would be the same team, but different.

What does Thabo add? Imagine Exum playing to his full potential for the whole year, he already showed incredible D and stunning play at times. Would we have pulled out another win(or two) in the Houston series with a healthy Ricky? O'Neale will be better, IMO. What does Grayson add? We could be damn good with no moves, impress the hell out of the league and bring in a guy next year. We could even take down Houston or possibly even G.S. with this team if they have one or two key injuries. You never know.

I heard/read the Kings and Bulls are interested in Jabarri. The Bucks apparently have little interest. This might be a clue....

It is extremely rare to tear the same ACL. Replaced/repaired ACLs are stronger after surgery then they ever were. Most athletes get back to their athletic ability after an ACL tear within 2 years and most don't have an issue again.

Parkers athleticism was getting back to what it was before the injury towards the playoffs and he will be fine in that regard. Its just as likely than anyone else tears their ACL in the NBA as Parker.

Are there some underlying movement and/or health problems that caused his ACL? Maybe but we dont really know. Most likely it was just a fluke ACL tear that happens to lots of athletes and was not properly repaired and had an issue the first time before tearing it again.

20+ ppg scorers dont come along often that the Jazz could get. Especially ones that can create for themselves, shoot, pass and handle the ball. I prefer Aaron Gordon but if we had a realistic shot at either we should go for it.

I’m not buying that his knee won’t be a problem - Sam Bradford is the only athlete I can think of tearing the same acl twice in a similar time frame, and he’s still missing games because of it.

We have to wait for the dominoes to fall. The Sixers are waiting on Lebron to make his decision. Parker might think he can get a big offer from them if Lebron doesn't sign.

If we pick up Thabo's option (today is the deadline), the dream of Jabari is pretty much dead without a sign and trade. Considering how capped out the Bucks are, I'm not sure they want to facilitate that and have to bring back salary.

Can the Jazz get Parker to execute a sign and trade with Burks being the salary going back? How would that look with the sign and trade rules?
