He shoots half the shots Westbrook does and gets to the line more and shoots a higher percentage when there. He shoots a grand total of 0.3 less FT's per 36 minutes than Durant. Harden averages 4.2 assists per 36 compared to 5.6 for Westbrook, who controls the ball A LOT more. The FT's and assists support a case for Harden being as good as advertised and not simply a product of Westbrook and Durant's court presence.
As far as PER goes, how many minutes does he play with Durant compared to Westbrook?
you can't look at stuff like that in a vacuum, dude. he gets more open looks than westbrook because westbrook is obviously better by a mile to anybody who watches them, so westbrook is facing a trap every time he comes off a high pick. harden is one of the wide-open guys on the perimeter who benefits from all that attention.
truthfully, i can't even believe we're arguing westbrook >/< harden. the fact that you really believe yourself tells me i'm not not going to win this argument with, you know, logic or basketball knowledge.
