wasn't novak and evans our backups at 4?
I don't get this at all. I know we need bench guys but why at that rate and for two years when re-signing Burks and Kanter are on the table next summer.
If we're going down that road, I'd rather trade draft picks for Kenneth Faried. Think the Manimal would be a beast next to Favors.Deal is 2 year 10 million guys. Your thoughts? 5 mil per year for a "nasty" energic rebounder?

@richgates So sorry man, didn't see your topic on mobile
eh, stats are nothing special. Is he good at D?
Don't like it. I'm fine with Novak for two years, but the Jazz have a better asset in Tomic and they have tons of picks the next few years. Don't seem to have a hard time filling out the roster. Wish they'd just kept Stokes for that kind of coin.
How could you possibly know what Tomic is capable of. Plus, bringing him over would be much more expensive and risky than this signing. The Tomic and, to lesser degree, Neto hyperbole needs to be tempered around here. Neither player has proven ****.
We need to make very calculated risks from here on out. If Exum and Roscoe pan out it's even more important to stay flexible over the next 4 years.
Do you feel comfortable playing Novak and Evans major minutes in the scenario of injuries to Gobert/Favors/Kanter?
Booker is a guy who can start if needed and not get outmatched physically by starting NBA bigs. The same can't be said for Evans/Novak.
Murphy wasn't making the team no matter what.
Probably good bye to Evans.
