Jazz select Grayson Allen at 21

I said that?

Maybe it was someone else, I don’t know, but you did a lot of criticizing his size and questioning what position he plays being to small to guard sg’s and not being a pg. 6-5, if that is right is not too small to guard sg’s if correct even so I’m pretty sure he’s at least 6-4.

That First Take segment is great. What Jay and StevenA say is spot on.

And Max has a terrible argument about Williams. We dont need that bum.

Depends on the shoes (6' 3" w/o shoes, 6' 4.5" with).

Split the diff and just go with 6' 4".

He doesn't have very good size for a SG (it isn't terrible, either), let alone a wing.

Why would you split the difference? He's 6'4.5 in shoes. They play in shoes on the court. 1.5 inches is the standard height gained from shoes according to the draftexpress guys.

Just signed Kelan Martin from Butler!!!

Love it baby! 6'7", 230 and jacked with a 7'3" wingspan. 21.2 points, 6.3 rebounds. He made 56 3's over the final 15 games. 82% from the line. His knock is on d but he def looks to have the body and athleticism to be a good defender.

Cool. Looking forward to seeing him in Summer League.

The Jazz aren't trying to hit a home run here. They're trying to hit an infield single that drives in a run at the plate. Grayson Allen's job is going to be to make Donovan Mitchell's life easier -- do the little things, do the dirty work, play hard on defense, handle the ball, make a shot when it's there. That's it.

Why did you quote my post with a response that had absolutely nothing to do with my post?

Royce is buckets o neale... i like that or Rolls Royce (too obvious doe).

Jae should be the Predator or THE PREDATOR!!!

Is the buckets part supposed to be ironic?
I like rolls royce

That's not a case to not care about the 2nd round, it's a case for caring more.

40% of the players in the NBA weren't 1st rounders. I guess the FOs attitude is they'd rather go kicking every tire and looking under every rock in Europe instead? But why not do both?

I was just curious who the jazz had picked in the 2 nd round lately. That’s all.

Maybe they haven’t done good at all in the 2 round and like to wait to fill their rosters spots in a way that they have been better at after waivers. I can’t think of any 2nd rounders they have drafted recently that stuck. I think joe ingles, Royce O’Neal, and Wes Matthews worked out pretty good though.
Maybe it’s as simple as that.
Maybe they like to see how guys play against nba players when trying to make an nba team before going after them cause it has worked out better in the past.
