Jazz sending a message

Kanter has had some recent struggles but he will figure it out. I believe! Favors, Kanter, Gobert, Hayward, Burks, Burke and Neto are the perfect compliments to a superstar.

But the hard truth is the Jazz are considerably better when Marv or Evans plays in contrast to Kanter.

Considerably better? Okay, I will give you that but to what purpose? To win 22 games rather than 18? To get a worse draft spot while potentially doing less to develop the youth? Marv and RJ will not be here in 2 to 3 years and won't be leading us into the playoffs. So to play them to be better is fools gold, and Ty is a fool. Tank on.

Have you happened to look at Derrick Favors stats for his third year? His stats seem similar to Kanters while playing more minutes.

So you have NOT been watching games.

And BTW, https://www.82games.com/1314/1314UTA.HTM

Kanter doesn't know how to handle a double team, he's not overpowering anyone, he's giving up position in the post and on the glass all over the place. That reflects in how the Jazz play less than how traditional, dumb box scores chart performance.

Ty's job is to win. If you think he's going to throw games despite his own interests (or the fundamental reason the game is played to begin with), I'm not sure he's the fool in this scenario.

Besides, Ty is probably gone no matter what anyway. He's coaching as much for a resume than anything.

I'm all about tanking, but only if the efforts to that end happen in the front office, not on the floor. I don't want to be the Warriors.

Derrick Favors has quietly put together a very efficient offensive season. Corbin needs to pull his head out and get the kid more looks in the post.

Oh man.... I hate to ask this in a Jazz thread then, but.......

Am I to understand that Mission Accomplished is anti-gun?

Not anti-gun just common sense for sensible reasons we don't need these banana clips semiautomatic death machines in the hands of citizens. I can start a thread in General Discussions.

I'm pretty sure that Favors wasn't breaking double teams last year. Development is an ongoing process which can take times and requires minutes of actual game play.
