Jazz to do Arena upgrades

Maybe add some sort of decor in the front to make it feel fancier?

I actually like this idea quite a bit. Buildings in Europe are super old but no one notices the ones that have style and look nice. Hope they go in that direction a bit.

I imagine a huge part of the focus will be on adding more suites. That'll be fine and dandy for people in suites and the lower bowl but it'll push the upper bowl further away.

I heard the company doing the remodel will be the one that did a remodel in Sacramento. I think it was Sacramento, anyway. So, anyone know what their arena looks like post-remodel?

The company has dealt with the Cubs, Kings, Bucks and others. They have some experience in professional sports remodels.

ugh

The upper bowl is already terrible. I'd rather they rebuilt the Arena and made it more shallow. Put more seats in the lower bowl and improve the viewing angle from the upper bowl.

Srsly I know some of you love to praise the Arena's design but I think it's ****.

Land swap

Rebuild it at 450 south and Main

Someone was telling me that they considered building a new arena, but close to City Creek.

Side note, is anyone else completely unimpressed with City Creek? I've been there twice and there's pretty much nothing I want there and I don't think it's even all that appealing visually or aesthetically.

Did you ever go to Crossroads or ZCMI?(or main while they were still up) I'm pretty impressed with what City Creek has done for downtown. The residential component was huge for the city as was opening up the blocks. Regent street is reworking itself from a **** alleyway into a really cool mid block street from City Creek to Gallivan. It would not have happened if the church didn't line its mall up with that street.

I'm not big on the mall either but what the lds church did for downtown was really cool and no one else could have gotten it done or would have bothered to try.

Malls aren't really my thing, but I think City Creek is pretty nice. My girl's love it.

The news of stadium upgrades actually bums me out. I'd rather see them stand pat and then build a new stadium in about a decade. I remember just a couple of years ago, while they we're making huge upgrades to the locker rooms and adding the new Jumbotron, Randy Rigby said they felt that with the upgrades, they could get 20 more years out of that arena.

Depending on what they do now, I may not see a new arena in my lifetime.

Then GTFO if you think so poorly of them.

Is your point to complain and annoy everyone else with your worthless turd of a post?

Negged for utter stupidity. Fans can complain. We aren't the robots some of you pom pom wielding fools think we all must be or GTFO.

No, it has nothing to do with the criticism of a team, but the manner in which it's done.

And you ARE a robot, programmed to say anything negative the team does. ARENA UPGRADES. Matches turd of team. TRADE UP. Turd of a decision. TRADE DOWN. Turd of a decision. STAYED PAT. Turd of a decision. MADE TRADE. Turd of a decision. YOU are the robot, Franklin. The troll robot. If you REALLY thought about changing teams, or disliked the team or didn't want to troll the fan base, the appropriate action is apathy, which means you leave and don't care.

In other words, you're self righteous and think others should act and react in the way you deem appropriate. Good on ya, grandpa.

While I don't need to see robotic, Pom-Pom wielding fans, I think it would be super awesome if one of you guys that are so disgruntled with this organization, that you threaten to find a new team, put your money where your mouth is and actually left.

Look, I realize that you can't find a new team over night. It's a hard, life changing decision that you need to really think through. However, that shouldn't stop you from cutting ties with the team you've grown sick of rooting for. No need to hang around guy.

Your entire "I need a new team" schtick is cute, but we all know how this is gonna turn out: You're not going anywhere. Ever. Next offseason you'll still be on this very message board complaining about the exact same things you're complaining about today.
