I like Sergeant Swatter. Goes well with his salute. And I agree with the announcers; the crowd needs to start saluting back. Dikembe had the finger wag; Rudy now has his signature gesture. He can do it after a monster dunk or a huge block.
Do you know where that solut came from? Was he in the military training when he was younger?

Gobert and Favors kept Harden from getting to the rim for the most part. I think that says enough about our defense right there.

Who new the run and gun young team with the offensive geared coach would be the slow down grind them out on defense young team.

Everything is so beautiful now, I could just...

I have always been a big Burks fan, but a certain left hander is going to give him a run for his money as the starting shooting guard. Wonder which one will be the 6th man off the bench?

Great to think how the Jazz will be rising fast up the Western Conference rankings next year.

I called that in the other thread about Gobert. Everyone is afraid of the paint with him around, and when he is out they are lulled into a false sense of security until they run into Favors. BOOM!

We could be watching not just the emergence of one of the best center to play the game but quite probably the best defensive duo in the paint since the Twin Towers off Olajuwon and Sampson.

In terms of style of play, I like Hood better in the starting lineup to spread the floor.

And Burks is more capable than Hood of being the go to guy for the second unit.

With the emergence of Hood and Favors and Rudy, and Hayward having what could be termed a breakout year as well, our biggest problem in the future will be convincing Greg to mortgage the Miller's entire holdings to keep this team together for 6 or 8 championships in a row.
