Jefferson or Millsap for 5th pick and Garcia?

I thought this too, but then I remembered how they had the #7 pick last year and traded back to #10 in order to draft Jimmer and pick up Salmons again. They could have drafted Biyombo or Knight.

I think the Kings would probably try for a blockbuster, like Iguodala or Gay for a pick swap and Tyreke Evans. If they can't pull that off, they might do a deal with the Jazz. My feeling though is that they'd want Millsap plus Hayward, and want us to take back something along with their pick. Al Jefferson would just get in the way of Cousins, so I think they'd want Millsap and another player.

Trading down for Jimmer wasn't as dumb as you think. Do you realize how many jerseys that kid has sold for them? The pickup of Jimmer was based more on jersey and ticket sales more than anything else.

Secondly, Biyombo and Knight were hardly can't miss players. I guess Knight is turning out to be ok. Biyombo? Please... The Kings didn't miss out on anyone there. Besides, don't they already have 10 talented yet long-term projects at the 4 and 5?

Trading their pick to the Utah Jazz for anyone not named Favors would essentially be like Miami trading Lebron for Raja Bell.

Am I reading this right? You think we would have to give up Millsap and Hayward plus take back a bad contract in order to get their 5th pick? That's insane.

Your last sentence is so stupid that it's painful to read.

This would be great, even if it was for Millsap.

But I honestly think Barnes would be a better fit than MKG.

I'm not saying we'd take back a bad contract, and I'm not saying the Jazz would do the deal. I'm just saying that the Kings would probably want more than just Millsap for #5.

No one going give ya a top 20 pick for jefferson or millsap but you think sac would give a top 5.. Man the jaz zfans are some of the dumbest in the nba world. No one wants your trash players. Only players with value on jazz are millsap, burks, and favors but not a top 5 pick

What team do you pull for?

I put this idea on Sac's RealGM site, and while it didn't gain a ton of traction, there was one (or two) posters that said they'd be interested in Millsap + GS pick for #5. I'd do this in a heartbeat, and I think KOC's M.O. is to seek out the half-tard GMs and fleece them. He already honed in on Billy King, my guess is his next target will be Petrie.
