I loved how people on this board thought it was a done deal he was coming over. As i said in another post he may really like Spanish women and not want to come over. Kidding, but the reason giving is that his wife wants to stay in Spain. I am afraid Kaminsky played his way into being drafted before we do. I feel sorry for mr. Tomic. He came so close to being a player on the biggest stage, but at the moment of decision his heart failed him, and with his courage lost he settled for stability and comfort.

And I feel sorry for mr. Lindsey. Normally a very stone faced player, he showed his hand a little bit last week on 1280 and suggested that Tomic was part of the plans. Now the cards are all out and Lindsey looks a little foolish. But lindsey is a courageous player, he will probably take it as a challenge to make something better happen.

Regardless of indications, it's hard to fault people for being skeptical that he'd finally come over SEVEN years after being drafted.

Don't get me wrong. I would like him on the team. But I certainly don't want to trade current assets to go and get him. The guy has definite defensive liabilities.

Well, this time he's actually truly dead NBA wise, three years from now he will be starting to decline, so his NBA 'aspirations' (if musing on maybe someday can be called an aspiration) will be over, nobody will want a declining Euro player to join their team at his price.
