*regular season game. How did winning a championship go? I assume you're just trolling though, no one (unless they are just a sad hater) who watched Jordan play in his career doesn't think he is the greatest. Or I guess you might be a kid as well.

I'm almost 40 so cut the kid crap. Saw MJ's whole career. He was excellent, but there is no GOAT. Too many variables.

And read between the lines - the Bulls were damn good with it without MJ. Of course they won titles because he was an all time player. But he had help.

Be objective. Don't believe everything you've been told to believe.

Okay, so just a hater. Check.

The Bulls were good without him. They lost in the second round of the playoffs.

Also its not reading between the lines when you post the same silly comment multiple times. Not sure you know what that means...

Also why would you assume anyone would believe what they are told about Jordan being the GOAT. We all watched him play and can see the records and stats. No one is affected about their belief in Jordan because Nike sells his shoes and shirts today.

Jordan is the GOAT and its not close, especially in the modern era. I think I am pretty objective saying that as a Jazz fan...

Jordan was awesome no doubt. I just find it funny that people will attack you if you don't say he's the greatest. It's like they have stock and their stock goes down every time someone says he wasn't the goat.

If you lump everything into "seasons" you are technically correct, but that's not entirely fair either, given that MJ did not play most of his 2nd season due to a broken foot. But if you go by actual games that Jordan played without Pippen (before Pippen entered the league, when Pippen was injured/DNP, or when Pippen played on a different team), Jordan in fact had a winning record without Pippen 193-187 .508. Not amazing, but it's still a winning record.


  • 1984/85 - 38-44
  • 1985/86 - 9-9
  • 1986/87 - 40-42
  • 1987/88 - 3-0
  • 1988/89 - 4-5
  • First 3peat - 1-0
  • Last 3peat - 31-12

His first five seasons, yes. But you're right, he probably never, ever improved.
 
So in your opinion if New Orleans's management is never able to build a capable winning team around Anthony Davis, then his achievements mean less despite him being possibly the most talented player ever?

If he is the most talented player ever than New Orleans will be a winning team. Maybe not a championship team but a "winning one".
