Kings Trade Cousins to the Pelicans

Cousins is becoming a really good passer this season, AD is a very good shooter, they should work in theory.

He isn't a great passer, he just had the ball all the time in SAC. He also turns the ball over a ton. I think Cousins has the 2nd highest usage rate in the NBA and Davis might be in the top 8.

Cousins is a good shooter, too, for someone his size. He's shooting 35% from 3 on 5 attempts per game.

That's really the thing that makes this all having a chance at working. If they can develop a Gasol/Randolph like chemistry it could be special, but I don't think they can. They will face too much early adversity in a stacked conference and Boogie will crumble.

LOL @ Cy and all this prophecies.

Now you're just being silly.

I'm not saying better, but more consistent. The Kings would beat the Warriors one night then lose to the Lakers. If Boogie decided to have a meltdown it really took the air out of the entire team. I've watched at least 10 Kings games this year, it's really bad when Boogie goes on one of his tirades.

This is a classic game of chicken... the same thing happened when KOC traded away DWill.

That's not entirely why he was traded, though. After Larry died KOC and Greg started to passively drive the team into the ground for a few years by trying to stay the course and not rock the boat, watching us get ousted by the Lakers in successively less games three years in a row, but they kept bringing back the exact same roster and popularizing buzzphrases (which actually picked up some steam here, BTW), such as "sometimes the best move is no move" and "internal improvement." Like a woman pretending her husband isn't having an affair, this all came to a head with the Sloan/Deron feud and the FO's passive nature of dealing with any problems. They were shocked when Sloan quit and, in an effort to redeem themselves and make atonement, and possibly a hint of shifting blame, they hastily dealt Deron (which both then and now was the right move).

Apparently Sacramento had better offers on the table but liked Buddy Hield more than any other young player being offered.

It's probably easy to piss on the Kings right now if you're any fan in the league, but remember the Jazz found themselves under a similar gun with Deron

Man, the Kings suck so bad at everything. Cousins and Davis is sweet. Crazy news.

Cousins has hit more threes than Buddy Hield this season
