Kirelenko in Trade talks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charlotte and NJ certainly want it ... guess KOC has to be lying then if the Jazz want it. If KOC turns out to be a liar, he's going to get a lot of flack from fans.

I think you are confusing lying with Public Relations. KOC admitted the Jazz were involved in trade talks and never said he would or wouldn't trade AK. So I think your emotions are cloudy your opinion about him lying about anything. KOC is doing his job. His job is to worry less about what the fans think and more about how to do his job. His job is not to please the fans all the time but to try to get the best team on the floor. Fans may differ with his decisions to keep or trade players but I haven't seen any lying going on about the AK situation. Sorry you are not going to get full disclosure on everything.

Lying? I didn't say he was lying. I believe what he said. But if the trade goes down and all the Jazz get is Diaw, then yes I believe he's being deceptive or at least not being forthcoming.

There's certainly room to say that he was being less than truthful if the deal were to go down as previously reported, particularly with the statement "we haven't agreed to anything."

They probably did agree, the beauty is that no one would be able to prove that he had indeed agreed when the deal COULDN'T go through. If he later agrees, it doesn't necessarily mean that he had earlier agreed, but even if he had, there'd be no evidence.

AGREE???

Given the amount of smoke around the deal previously, my baseline assumption would be that he had agreed prior to making that statement if the deal were to go down exactly as reported.

Guess you posted this a minute before me, so when I made a thread out of it, some of the dorks on here started to ridicule me for it, just like what happened when I attempted to start a thread on the updates. What's wrong with these jerks on here? They make a mockery of this board and what it's supposed to be.

Watch now for more sarcastic remarks.

The only way to stop them is to ignore them. You realize they keep doing it because you keep reacting, right?

That's not why people were ridiculing you. If you treat other people like ****, you ought to expect the same treatment in return.

And who was I treating like ...., tick me off? Just because I wanted people to be more specific about what KOC said? This is supposed to be a message board where people can get information. I don't live in Utah and wasn't able to watch Sportsbeat and it was never put up until after I went to bed.

Continue acting like an entitled little bitch, and you'll be treated like an entitled little bitch.

Just stop with these Devin Harris delusions. Just stop. The Jazz want Diaw, and frankly thats probably all they are going to get.

You're right, Siromar. But why do the mods tolerate people doing this? That's what I'd like to know. I have complained about it in the past, but nothing is ever done.

We'll get more value over the winter before the deadline. There will surely be a failing team looking to rebuild, or a team wanting future cap relief (I'm sure there are other scenarios, as well). We'll get a better player than Diaw, and with the season winding down, we'll know what our needs are based on how our new roster performs...

I think we need to wait and see how AK plays this season before we start thinking about trading him. I think a lot depends on how well he recovers from his injury at the end of last season. We haven't heard anything about his off-season training, or have we? I don't recall anything. Last year we know he bulked up. But this year, has he done any work?

The problem is the JAZZ want tax relief. That was part of the whole basis for the trade, which now seems dead.
The way I see it is the Jazz are high on Hayward and like what they see out of Evans (AK-lite). And CJ was going to be a starter last season before he got hurt. Then there's Raja. Plug in the minutes; you can fill the 2/3 without having AK.

We might be able to get more for AK IF the Jazz were willing to take back $17M in longer-term salaries. But they aren't. Miller wants to reduce his tax hit or get under entirely, just as he did last season with the two trades. I don't fault him for that. The Millers are wealthy, but certannly not on the level of Paul Allen, Dr. Buss, Prokhorov etc.
