Anyone ever go to the Break in Daybreak? I like it. Goos food and great atmosphere and live music. I'm building my house in Daybreak so I'm planning on this being my go to spot for Jazz games.

Hey! I actually have some good news on that front. Utah finally can claim existence of a real live Korean BBQ place (The way it's supposed to be done with grills on your table and all of that). It's AYCE to boot. The downside? It's in Springville. Hopefully it does well and we can join the rest of the world in enjoying some legit Korean food.

Those both look great, ill have to try them. There have been a few grill on the table Korean BBQ places in Utah througout the years but they have not been that great. I am guessing some of them are still open. I am glad we maybe have a good one. Although the chances of me driving to Springville for food are pretty slim. But maybe if I am in the area.
I have not heard of Bumblebee's, that one ill have to try for sure. That looks up my alley.

I could definitely be wrong but I'm pretty sure I've been to all of the places along the Wasatch front and I know that some of them will bring a portable grill to your table but, it's just not the same. Real Kbbq is a restaurant commited to one thing, bringing you delicious raw meat so you can grill it and eat it with all the delicious stuff on the side. In Korea a place will usually only specialize in a single meat or a couple of meats. The Kbbq places in the states seem to all do the AYCE thing and have a larger selection of meats and even include like a side menu with stuff like teriyaki chicken or bento meals and stupid **** like that. I get why they feel like they need to do it this way though.

I guess now that I think about it most the grill in the table places I have eaten have been in California. The only one I can think of is the one that is(or used to be) in Orem on State st by University Mall. They were a split Japanese on one side and the other side had Korean BBQ with grills on the table. I think it is called Yamato but I think they stopped doing the Korean stuff. Maybe they have taken the grills out, I dont know. I have not eaten there in a decade.

You know, you're right. Yamato had the grill tables although, I've never seen them used.

Recently discovered a new restaurant. The Mountain Bistro in Parowan, UT. It is a Chinese place and the food is absolutely amazing. I'm no expert but it is the best Chinese I have ever eaten. The menu is pretty large for a small town restaurant, large portions, food is always hot and the process are decent. Amazing food, it is now a favorite of ours. So far we have had their Special Fried Rice, Sesame chicken, garlic chicken, deep fried shrimp and sweet and sour pork. All excellent.

Sweat and sour pork sounds terrible tbh.
I love the hospitality in Southern Utah restaurants (besides ****ty Moab). We like to take an annual visit to http://www.roseranchresort.com/ in Marysvale, rent a cabin and a UTV for the Piute Trail. It's a pretty cheap weekend getaway for what you get, and there's plenty other things to do in the area (highly underrated destination). I was bummed when the little white brick hole in the wall there closed. That lady was so genuine and polite that we tipped her $20 on a $20 check, and she of course all but refused to accept it. I've found that hospitality to be the case in most rural area diners.
Anyway, your place sounds like a basic Chinese joint but I'll have to check it out when I visit the Geezy at the beginning of next month. I'll let you know when I'm heading in case you can/want to meet for lunch.

I'm leaving for St George in a few for the weekend. I plan on eating at the Rib and Chop House tonight. There's another one of those in Billings, MT I go to for work too. Love their bison steak, ribeye and lamb chops. Their pork chop is next level though.
There is a restaurant in St. George called the Gun Barrel. It serves bison, elk and what not. Pricey though. Meal for 2 cost me over 100
