LDS church membership statistics

You are the anti-bean, aren't you, Dal. I hope you take that as the compliment it's meant to be. If all people of all religions were as thoughtful as you this world would be a better place. The opposite is true for bean.

Unfortunately people like bean are far more likely to misunderstand or dismiss a comment like that as meaningless than to do anything about it. Hey bean, wake up and smell the coffee!!!

"Hulk Smash!" is a lot easier than thinking "huh, maybe people have hidden reasons for doing things I don't understand."

What would the "huh, maybe people have hidden reasons for doing things I don't understand." For terrorism, honor killings, or just shooting a teenage girl for getting educated?

Also name one country on that 50 list that creates more positivity to mankind that it does violence.

Most Muslims aren't violent people and the countries aren't extremely violent. I'm just saying overall I think the religion does more harm to mankind than good.

I don't understand why that is such a shocking statement. There are many ex-mormons on here that have said the exact same things about the LDS church.

Christianity condones the rape of young boys.

I love that you give an example of the same exact mistake you are making. So much for the chance to learn.

Haha I dunno. I feel like I'm a product of growing up in a multicultural environment-- and this habit of fostering understanding of other cultures is not uncommon amongst multicultural places.

I have no stats, I will just say that rampant breeding does stuff and I don't think it's a coincidence that many religions push their congregations to reproduce like vermin.

I didn't know Vermin was reproducing a lot. How many kids does he have?

I don't know that I would call it rampant but the LDS faith clearly has larger families then the US average. As one from a large fmaily I have to say that I love it.

Are NBA players a religion? I read somewhere that it was estimated that for every NBA players there is probably 1 out of wedlock child if averaged out.
They believe in big families, although spread out around the US.

Turkey comes to mind.

This singular contribution is enough to absolve Turkey of any wrongdoing for centuries to come.
