Do I really have to explain something so obvious?19, but what is your point bringing up his (incorrect) age?
Did anybody argue he can't or won't improve? If so, my apologies cause I missed it.Do I really have to explain something so obvious?

Not hating on Exum, but Neto, before his rookie year was considered a bad shooter, and he went on to shoot 39%Hmm, I'll have to look again later. Either way Exums percentage isn't good but for a rookie that is not a horrid number it's decent.
They are basing their opinion more on hope or optimism - even logic - than on a very possible reality, which is...Hill is damn good and if he begins the season as a starter, chances are he doesn't give it up.I feel like the people suggesting Exum will start by January next year at the latest are placing wildly unfair expectations on Exum and severely underestimating George Hill.
Jesus christ
The Jazz are trying to make the playoffs. Not only is Hill better than Exum but Exum is way down the list of players that will be able to contribute. He's below Lyles and Burks at this point. The Jazz have to move forward. It will be up to Exum to keep up.
His ability to thwart opposing offenses at the point of attack has had a clear trickle-down effect on the entire Jazz defense.
Head coach Quin Snyder made Exum the full-time starter on January 22. The contrast in the team's defense before and after that move is stark.
Utah's Defense With Exum Starting Before January 22 NBA Rank After January 22 NBA Rank
Points Allowed 99.1 14th 87.6 1st
FG% Allowed 46.4% 26th 41.4% 1st
3P% Allowed 37.3% 27th 33.7% 10th
Defensive Rating 106.8 27th 95.3 1st
The impact Exum has had on Utah, which now has the league's best defense, has been immense. Gobert and Derrick Favors get a ton of credit, but neither has to help on nearly as many drives when Exum's on the floor.
I really hope Exum is a starting calibre player. Like not even a debate. Hill will be an awesome addition, and I think he should play both PG and SG and get lots of minutes, I just really hope Exum ends all debate on the starting PG spot once he gets going.
I want the Jazz to win championships and ****. If that's going to happen we need Exum to be something special.
**** the haters who want to blow up the team and take wild swings at rookies. I like this team and maybe my hopes are unrealistic, but my hope is that this team is good and can get it done in the years to come.
I have no expectation of going deep this year. Just the tip. We'll be crushing cervixes soon enough.
The Exum impact was more of a "This isn't Trey Burke" impact. We will be better with Hill.
I cant wait to see Exum and Gobert playing together. I cant count how many times last season I saw Rudy under the basket, open, sometimes calling for the ball, and never getting it.
He worked well with Exum, and Dante found him consistently.
But hill is a great defender too and can play on the offensive endOf course this is a lie,
WINNING COUNTS
Why is this ignored when this is when Utah won and they haven't come close to match it since........Ohhhh because he shot 31% from 3's ,so f**k winning Jazz need a better shooter.
