Sounds intriguing. Is she a very kinky girl...the kind you don't take home to mother?

I actually have never met her. . . . maybe someday. . . .

I guess she's thirty years old or so because as I understand it, she has some children about the same age as mine. To my best guess, she also has a husband who it is rumored is very smart, and who provides some input once in a while in regard to the issues she is discussing, but mostly I think he's off in his own computer world, maybe too much, and leaving her with too much time on her hands sometimes. For a while I wondered if she might be an internet apparition of my wife, or her little sister. . . .

So when she's not coming in here, it's probably good news for the marriage, if it's not an illness in the family or some kind of a job.

I think the aspects of her manner that might be more on the testy side derive from residual issues with her parents, who might have been liberals.

But like the best friend of the cowboy in "Cowboys Don't Cry", " hey, what do I know?".

****. Lots of uptight people around here...uptight because of internet points. Please, someone, maybe, babe, please help me understand how grown men can get so riled up about this stuff.

CLUE: It's a ****ing joke you hack. What's way funnier is how some, you, can get so uptight about others seemingly getting uptight about something they're not actually uptight about. LOL

Oh.. and lmao at your 2" rep, hard.

****. You love your rep so much. You just lashed out over rep.

From all the information I can claim, the whole reason for JazzFanz is the rep game.

When my wife breezes by and tries to lure me outta my cave and into hers, I tell her how important rep is, and how it makes life better for her.

I give PKM three points for being able to mock his own game at the first hint of seriousness.

Viny, like a said about the troll thread, it's a public service some folks do giving us a place to vent and act out on life issues in a mere online forum. It keeps a lot of folks off their meds, and outta harm's way. If our benefactors in JazzFanz management can give us issues like rep to fuss about, I am sure it can save marriages and keep guys going to their jobs, regardless of how maddening their wives and bosses are.

We get to defuse our personal issues in a mere game.

That's the way it's always been for me with Chess, for example. And I think Basketball or even Football can claim the same beneficial values.

Great post. I do appreciate the answer.

I should probably delete my analysis of Pearl. She probably doesn't want me saying all that.

I've had some very good friends in my life. What I believe about Pearl, whom I've never met, is that she has a bit of a wild side and it's inside her marriage. And she loves her hubby, and her children, and nothing else really matters. She is a sincere Christian who looks at the whole modern age/social progress agenda as the root of all evil, and the ruin of a once-great nation, and the end of human liberty.

While I can actually see the rationale offered for the New World Order as some kind of effective management plan with some gains in efficiency for commerce and management, I think the people who are in the most critical decision-making positions are evil humans who have no conscience, and we are fools to give them the power they want.

So Pearl and I share a world view.

A question for you guys to ponder:

Would "acceptance" end all hate in this world?

I'm not saying you have to agree with everything somebody said or do, but to simply 'accept' that people are different, have different opinions, world view, etc, and as long as it doesn't 'hurt' them it is OK for people to be different and freely live the life that they choose.

If the answer to the question above is "Yes", then why is it so hard to achieve?

Sounds like a confusion of "tolerance" and "acceptance". We can easily tolerate inconsequential differences between folks, but if you think you're gonna eat my ice cream cone, I'm gonna punch you in the face.

I tolerate other religions, if they are not doing anything that significantly affects me. I can even tolerate liberals when they are sleeping or passed out on the couch from a drug overdose. But that doesn't mean I accept them. And I consider it my right, my duty, to defend my freedom to be what I choose.

I tolerated that post.

Wasn't it Jesus who said "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." ?????

In a commercial transaction, I don't even bother with irrelevancies like religious differences, or any other characteristic of the customer. It's all about exchange of goods. . . quantities, prices, utilities, services. . . . making life better somehow.

Not to nitpick, but Jesus didn't speak English.

And though it is generally accepted that Jesus and His disciples spoke Aramiac, I will provide the translation is the better known/spoken Hebrew.

כל מה שתרצו שיעשו לכם בני האדם,כן גם אתם עשו להם

Yes it would but the reason why it doesn't happen is most people don't accept others. People are complex, selfish, and flawed. We spend 97 percent of the time arguing over the 3 percent that is different about each other. Maybe people need to feel superior or need conflict or act out on their insecurities but it still baffles me why most humans can't accept each other. However, it also baffles me why I get irritated by it myself. I am not surprised I do it but I attempt to be more on the accepting side most of the time (LMAO).
