Marc Stein: Jazz-Warriors discuss pre-Lottery trade (Source says trade "likely")

10,500 posts are eating up a lot of server space... especially considering the quality of said posts.

Just to be thoroughly confusing, lol, You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, and NAOS would like to see you try again later.

I was thinking about possible trade scenarios, and I hope (if a trade is to get done) that it would be S&T Brandon Rush, 30th pick this year, and 2013 Top 3 protected for Raja Bell and this year's pick protection free.

I have said that EXACT thing. Agreed and plus.

Not possible.

We can't sign and trade for Rush before the draft.

We also can't put the board's collective ideas into motion, so we're splitting hairs. I'm currently working on a 3 team deal that sends out Jefferson and Bell and takes back Steve Nash and Drazen Petrovic.

For a trade that's imminent there's very little updates as to what's going on.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. For a trade that is so likely to happen you would think someone would know what was involved, besides the 7th/8th pick. I'm kind of excited to see just how desperate the Warriors are.

The deal will be done, tomorrow, from what I'm told. Though we may not know the details for a month.

The board will go into complete meltdown mode if it drops to the 8th and no one knows what we got out of it.

Never really thought of that .. but what little I was told was a deal WILL (100%) be done, but it may not be made public until draft day. I have no idea what the details are (I've asked) but just sharing (kinda wish I hadn't, I think).

Could the trade be "conditional?" I.e., Utah receives additional compensation if the results of the lottery drop the pick to #8? I know the NFL allows conditional picks that are tied into performances of a player involved.

And also...terms of the trade wouldn't be known until draft day? What in the hell could that mean? Are current players/picks not allowed to be traded right now?

I'm going back to my original prediction. $$$ plus a drop in protection in 2013/2014.
