I don't like the comparison of Brooks to Iverson. Very different games, different positions, roles, etc. Iverson was a game-changer in his day, and he did lead an otherwise nondescript Sixers team to the Finals.
As far as the workout with Burks goes, Brooks is the more finished product and the better scorer right now, so you can't read too much into that. The question is whether Brooks could keep up with Burks physically. Burks is being projected based on his athleticism. Brooks should be a crafty scorer and defensively competent player in the NBA, a thrid-option on offense and a player with a fairly complete game. Despite the comparisons with Kobe, Brooks' athleticism and potential as a scorer is closer to Brandon Roy, though I think he'd be a slightly poor-man's Brandon Roy.
