MOAR RUMORS

He can play spot minutes there, sure, but he's the starting PG, and there'd be no reason to bring in both Cotton and Neto to play back-up minutes behind Burke.

Cotton is on the team. There is no "bringing him in". He is the person most likely to be cut if Neto is actually brought over (my money says he isn't).

I'm calling it right now...Deron is coming back!
Utah sends out Booker and Burke and maybe Jerrett (to fit the deal under the cap). Pleiss hasn't signed yet because the Jazz will need to use their exception to sign him. Then they'll sign Lyles.
It makes sense for both teams!

A few things seem to be brewing --

* Tibor Pleiss is working out in Utah like he expects to be here, but hasn't been signed yet.

* Jazz want to bring in Cotton and Neto, making Trey Burke seemingly displaced; he's rarely talked about.

* Jazz looking at options to move Trevor Booker.

* Jazz holding out Trey Lyles, making it seem as though he's involved in a specific trade, not just discussions.

Add it all up, and it seems to signal something.
Yep, that's allot of smoke

Exum can play SG.
But doesn't. Especially when the alternative at pg is trey, cotton, etc and we have good wings already

That was last year though, we have all witnessed first hand that QS knows how to use and improve the tools he's given.
I would rather piece off both Trey's for other players, bring on Raul Neto to fight with Cotton on backup spot and get another FA somewheres.

True to your name, that about sums it up.

Broken Deron is our answer?

Shoot me now.

That would bum me out, but I tend to agree.

Also, I think the Jazz want to bring Neto over for training camp, not to out right sign him. If he did come over, he would be competing with Cotton. I think Cotton would beat him.

It is a tough spot for Cotton to be in right now. Of course he would not have it any other way, and he's going to compete his socks off. I just hope he stays within himself, and doesn't try to "prove he belongs" so hard as to basically stink up the court in SL. Just stay within yourself and think " team" every second your on that court. Only so many minutes to go around, but if he stays within himself and just looks for the best option every time up court, and not "I gotta do it, I gotta do it", then he should hold his own.

LOL - This is a borderline retarded opinion. that no-one has yet called out.. That Providence fan has really got some of yall feeling some type of way.

Surely that particular move is off the table. I'll never post on this site again if they cut him to make room for Neto, no bs.
