Nov 7th SLCC Exibition game feature several Jazz players

'

Favors for sure looked bigger and played bigger too. Jeremy was so much fun to watch tonight. The only thing better than his sky high dunks were Al and Favors dunking on him and the reactions from all the other players.

Curry shoots so effortlessly. Its amazing to watch.

Very pretty

Jimmer man-crush sections and Jimmer Hater sections were in full force tonight.

A group of guys in front of me booed every time he touched the ball. So I yelled, "JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER!!..........gasp.........JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER JIMMER!!!" at them every time they attempted to boo. It worked, they quit with bullcrap.

Then there were annoying Jimmer Fanatics behind me kept complaining that Jimmer didn't have the ball enough and I turned around and asked them, "Don't you just love Jimmer?" "If there was one guy that I'd push my hetero love for it's Jimmer. Don't you guys agree?" It made it really awkward and they stopped talking about him.

Aaaaaah, gotta love this bipolar state. After tonight, it's looking better and better everyday that Jimmer wasn't drafted by the Jazz. I won't have to deal with BYU and Utah/Utah State fans one-upping each other for heckles and cheers.

Other observations: All of the Jazz players looked fit and in good shape. Jefferson's bod was looking hot and he was jumping quicker and higher than at any point last season. Favors looks bigger and is just such a smooth athlete for how big he is and I think he definitely has Amare type offensive potential although he will likely never be quite as skilled as Amare is. Watson was fun to watch, gotta love the way he plays the game. Miles was terrible, but he does look like he's in great shape. Millsap was the same old Millsap, which isn't a bad thing. Evans is just ridiculous...no one should be able to jump like he can.

Favors is a beast.
Kanter bled profusely.
Watson > Harris.
Evans is a lot of fun to watch.

Most impressive was Burks though. I saw why he's been described as "smooth." Driving to the rim or shooting from outside or even giving an assist - it all looks so easy for him. If I had to compare his play to someone else in the NBA I'd say Wade. Really excited for his future.

I wish there is someway we could get Fredette on the team. He is just going to be lost on the Sacramento squad with mental midgets like Tyreke Evans and Cousins (no offense PKM).

I think Jimmer fits really well with Sacramento. Him and Tyreke compliment each other quite well offensively.

Not only are their styles similar, but look at their college stats:

Dwyane Wade

Alec Burks

Poor Enes he played only 6-7 mins. I need to make a totem for this guy so he wont actually finish his nba career without playing any single game at all

So we have Wade, AND Howard on the Jazz now? We are going to have a great future.
Once everyone pans out into the superstars we are projecting them to be ;)

This guy has videos from the game. Not the best quality because he is on the opposite side of the Jazz, but not bad.

I just watched the first half and my stream cut out a few times but here are a few observations:

Burks looks undercontrol and as fast as he needs to be to get to the hoop or elevate for a jumper.

Miles looked really bad except when he could dunk the ball.

I agree that Jefferson appears to be in better shape and quicker off the floor.

Millsap looks like he might have lost a little weight. Or he is in even better shape.

Earl Watson runs our offense the best out of all of point guards last year.

Stephen Curry looks like he has been in the weight room all summer.

Anyone else think if Memo is healthy that Kanter will be in the D League?

Think about we have Millsap, Jefferson and Favors getting the bulk of the minutes. You have Memo and Evans as the backups at C and PF. That is enough depth unless someone gets hurt. Then you being Kanter back up. Kanter needs the minutes and time to adjust to American basketball.

It's hard to take any actual things from a game like this other than Burks, Evans, Price, Miles, and Favors can all dunk really good.
