It was not a good idea to give the final ball to the player who is most known and probably easily guessed by the opposition.
I do hope tonight lays rest to the notion that Foye or Burks can be a point guard.
Maybe Burks, but he has a bit of an issue fending off hounding defenders when he's not driving. Plus, he rarely passes when he's driving. Foye just can't run a pick and roll. He's actually pretty good driving and passing off of that, but his reads on the pick and roll are terrible.
That leaves a problem. Given Corbin's history, I don't think he's all that likely to have a three guard lineup (Burks, Foye, PG), so that means Carroll backs up Marvin, and only one of Foye and Burks backs up Hayward.

Why no Kevin Murphy tonight?
You're like a woman that has to have the last word aren't you?
Corbin seems to be making it clear who his top 13 are.
Favors, Watson and Moe DNP.
The other ten who played round out the active roster.
Color me amused.
I just don't see it with Burks either .. other than spot minutes.
Favors and Moe are injured dude.
Yes. That's why they DNP.
That's probably true. Tinsley was really poor out there tonight. Watson is still injured. Foye is certainly useful on a team in a reserve wing role, but not as a PG. Jazz are probably going to struggle when Moe misses games.
Let's sign Bledsoe.
Let's sign Bledsoe.
Other than Foye leading the team in FG attempts and the entire 3rd quarter, I thought it was a pretty good game.
Like minor injuries.
I thought Foye would be pass first. Is there an epidemic in Utah to become a chucker?
What made you think Foye would be pass first?
Did he play at Kentucky?
I know you led me into to it, and that you expected it, but I still had to do it.
