You could barely walk across the room. How could I let you walk home?I had a blast like always. Finished in 5th place despite the fact that i dont really care about the poker, im just there to party. Bigb's buddy got under my skin a bit cause he is world class **** talker and some of the **** talking was directed at my red stag! So a couple of times during the night my drunk *** thought about fighting him but actually most of the night i liked him. He was a funny, outgoing, and talkative guy and talked a lot of **** but i think thats just how he is and doesn't mean anything by it and it just got under my skin cause he was a guy that i didn't know at all and was talking ****... if he were my friend and i knew he didn't mean anything by it then im sure i wouldn't have minded. Plus he looked like the type of dude who has been in a lot of fights and probably would have kicked my *** anyway. I think that really big guy (6 foot 6 ish and about 250 lbs) named curtis from dannon was bothered by his **** talking too but it was all good. Nothing got out of hand.
Shows the type of great person that bigb is too. Bigb is a byu fan mormon non drinker and his buddy is a ute fan hard core drinkin (he brought a bottle of wild turkey 101 for gods sake) trash talkin mouth of a sailer dude, yet bigb is his buddy. Not a lot of mormons with that open of a mind. Props to bigb. He also drove my drunk *** home even though i was trying to just walk home and I really appreciated the ride since it was raining too.
Lots of good food, really fun people, good beer and booze to drink, and even watched some playoff basketball with a bunch of sports lovin bros. I never want to miss one of these poker nights.
Big thanks to gameface for putting these tourney's on for us. Really tough job and not very rewarding at all for the host. At least everyone there is very respectful in regards to gameface's home and i dont think it got trashed or anything but still, cleaning up cant be much fun. Thanks gameface.
Is Sue hot?
Pretty jelly here. I was feeling like **** yesterday and didn't want to spread the virus. I bet it was a great time.

Not sure I would like all the **** talking tbpfh from people I don't know at all. Especially if it's just too unrelenting and I'm drinking.
It was never anything serious.
fish was overstating it?
There was one guy who was into trash talking (the guy fish mentioned). But it was pretty mundane, and people trash talked back and he took it in good spirits. I didn't think it was confrontational or anything. Keep in mind that fish was hammered.![]()
On the **** talking issue. Telling players how to play their cards, or encouraging players to call, or announcing that someone is bluffing or that they "have it" is in the gray area of the "one player to a hand" rule. I don't want to be a rules nazi and I don't want to be overly authoritarian in the way I run the game. Letting stuff like this go to an extent is intentional. However, there are times when it might cross the line. For instance, if someone is making a bluff and their opponent is about to fold but gets talked out of it by the table, that person would have a right to be upset. Same thing goes for almost getting a call when you have the nuts but then having the possible flush or whatever pointed out by people who are not in the hand.
If any one ever feels like that is getting out of hand please just mention it to me and I will let the table know to tone it down and not interfere with a hand they are not in.
I think this was mostly my buddy Eric. That bugged me too. But I know him from work and that's just how he is. I think that's just his thought process. He talks through everything to himself. On the **** talking issue. 2. Cards thrown into the muck may be ruled dead. However, a hand that is clearly identifiable may be retrieved and ruled live at management’s discretion if doing so is in the best interest of the game. An extra effort should be made to rule a hand retrievable if it was folded as a result of incorrect information given to the player.
I actually did that a couple of times. It is not cool. Sorry about that.
