Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

Somebody ought to keep a running list. I nominate anyone else.

Rigby let it slip that they would be targeting a position of need. The jazz have worked out 14 sf types.

Rigby also said they would reach 81 workouts. I'm still not sure why, feels like something else is going on.

Well, considering they technically have zero SF's on the roster (since Hayward starts at SG), yes, they should bring in SF types. And there's not a great chance of getting a starting SF in the draft unless the Jazz get the #1 pick.

You know Exum is praying Parker/Wiggins/Embiid go 1-3. He then prays that Vonleh goest 4. He then tells Utah that there is no way he will sign, and will stay overseas. Boom. Boston or LA gets him.

Can he do that? Just say he won't sign even though he has nothing over seas?

Orlando fans aren't showing much interest in Embiid. They want Exum, and if not Exum, then Smart or possibly Randle. I don't think Exum gets past Orlando if he's there at 4.

Both Embiid and Exum should be looking at Utah as a backstop.

Kobe did it. His agent told NJ that if they drafted him, he would go to Italy. So, NJ passed on Kobe, he went to Charlotte and was traded to LA.

Had no idea that Scott Wilbekin had worked out for the jazz. Didn't know he was a college senior too! I thought he was a sophomore or a junior. *facepalm*

A player can go to Russia if they want but if a team has a player's right they can simply say OK, "Call us when you get back". I think Exum isn't pulling a Kobe and has said he would play anywhere. He just mentioned LA because he was asked by a reporter. Of course he would love playing there, most NBA players would. Kobe on the other hand showed his diva personality right from the beginning. Charlotte drafted him and then they buckled under the pressure and traded him to LA. I would have made the kid sit out.

Those are promising comments, now I hope Orlando's front office listens to their fans.

If he performs well in the workouts he'll go top 4. There is just too much hype, and mystery surrounding him. Someone will bite, and probably wish they didn't.

I think the odds are quite low that a team drafts someone unexpected before the Jazz pick.

Although I just imagined Aaron Gordon going 5th and it made me a little sick.

Because you are hungover from partying so much once you heard we are taking Aaron Gordon 5th, right?
