Offseason Random Twitter Comments about Jazz Players

Good find, orange.
Only problem is heaven may have had the great players, but Satan was in charge of the officiating. And we see how that went in the '98 finals!

Your mom is interesting! Seriously, though, I don't see Jimmer as being enough of a PG to be in the backcourt with Hayward.

I thought you were going to take the angle of those two are working out because they might become teammates. I was going to squash that idea immediately. Oh, leave my mom out of this.

It sounds like the Al agrumentwasnt so much that he is a bad passer it is what he does with his touches that gets him judged, he forces when he should pass, he thows it out to the 3 line when he should het the cutting gaurd or milsap on the other side of the lane for an easy dunk or lay up. I think we should just settle this and say alls basketball IQ is just a little under par.
i am excited for this season to see what happens its going to be one ELL of a season.

It's true. My sources say that's the only thing holding up the big trade. Sacramento is claiming Jimmer >>>> valuable to Utah than just his basketball contributions. Ticket sales would go way up. Stores wouldn't be able to keep his jersey in stock in Utah county. Kings are said to be holding firm on their demands for two unprotected 1st's + $3M in cash for Fredette. And Utah will not give up Jefferson + Kanter for Cousins without also getting "The Jimmer" as part of the overall trade.

Jimmer's the throw-in. The trade isn't allowed without that salary addition.

Here are some words that I can only hope that come true:

Brian T. Smith ‏@tribjazz
An assertive Gordon Hayward: "We missed the playoffs the first year. Made it —barely — the second year. This year needs to be better."

Brian T. Smith ‏@tribjazz
Even more assertive Hayward: He wants to become an #NBA All-Star and is eyeing an eventual spot on the Olympic roster.

/fingers crossed

If Hayward takes the next step we are going to be a lot of fun to watch this year.
All he really needs to do is take a half-step. He's been great in the 2nd half of each year (not counting the playoffs) after getting off to extremely slow starts. I think the Select team experience is really going to show in terms of Favors' and Hayward's games and mental toughness.

His big steps are 3pnt consistency and improved finishing at the rim. If he does this and we help him with on-ball screens, then he can probably realize those dreams.

This, plus working on a pull-up 15 footer when in transition. He's already a STUD on the break, and he simply needs to add this on his repertoire to make him nearly unstoppable.

If Hayward could ever develop an advanced touch at the rim (when it comes to finishing his layups) I think he could easily be an All-Star. He just doesn't have that natural feel around the rim like some do though.

Malone might be the best I ever saw at that skill...he could be rolling into the basket at full speed on the break and so softly put it in it was amazing..he rarely missed layups at any speed or either side...he had great control at the rim...loved it.
