Prob already a thread about it but I hate the Ingles extension.

I'm not a hater and I'm glad Ingles is under contract for next year, but I do think he had a major drop off on defense last year, and is probably one of the worst transition defenders in the NBA.
I also agree that his sense of humor helps to ease tension in the locker room, but I'm not sure there is any evidence that he was a major factor in improving the relationship of Rudy and Donovan.

You’re 100% wrong but cool. And Joe mentioned several times his plan was to spend the entire offseason in Utah last year before any Covid happened. For the first couple years of Mitchell’s PR tour yes he was here some. Now he wants nothing to do with anything Utah. I know Rudy and Joe have done plenty more behind the scenes. Everything Mitchell does is with an eye towards his PR and branding/image.

The Laydens. Frank drafted Stock and Karl. He even won the executive of the year in 84. The only GM in teams history to win it. Scott made the Horny trade and pushed us to the only two Conference titles in franchise history.

I wouldn't put KOC over DL 4 years ago, but now i would. That's how much DL has ruined his own management career over the last few years with the moves he's made. So much promise, so little progress.

Joe might have single-handedly stopped more fast breaks than any player in the NBA...of course he fouled to do it but he does consistently stop the break outs.

In the Hamptons in New York yes. He was quite literally the first dude to schedule a private jet and get out of Utah within 24 hours. Royce, Joe, Mike, Rudy, literally everyone on the roster was here a week or two lol. Royce, JC, hell Rayjon Tucker has been at Powder League in SLC on and off for a few weeks now lol. He has spent the least amount of time in SLC in the last 2 years of anyone on the roster, this isn’t up for debate, and he’s never done a thing of substance here off the court except for good PR moments to mold that “good guy” image. He never will do anything of substance either because he hates Utah, and he hates the fanbase.

The only reason Joe didn’t come home was because of Covid. He’d have been here all offseason otherwise
