R.I.P. 2014 Tank

I haven't been this mad since the Oilers lost their goalie ..

I haven't been this confused since a missionary named kentucky kim tried to tell me bout some dude named jesus

It only worries me that after the all-star break franchises in this league will go into full tank mode like GS did a couple years ago. They will be benching their best players with minor injuries for long periods of time. They will pull players who are playing well and put in scrubs. In the fourth quarter they will bench starters if they have a lead or its close.

The Jazz organization is willing to let young players play but they are not willing to go into full tank mode like many franchises are. Hopefully the karma will play out and we win the lottery despite probably being in the 7-10th worst team position.

Honestly, we will not be playing as bad as we did 5 games ago-- for the rest of the season. The team collectively bottomed out, but has looked better and better in each game for the past week or so. Burke continues to grow, Hayward has almost busted his slump, Burks has busted his slump, Marv and RJeff continue to impress, Favors is slowly getting his composure back. What happens when Kanter gets out of his slump?

Sorry y'all. We won't be finishing bottom 5-- and that's a certainty.

I don't think the tank supporters should jump off the bridge just yet...Hayward had an incredible game, he'll go into another 6-7 game slump shortly, the tank will be back on schedule. I think Trey Burke is the kind of player that will step up his game in the 4th quarter and keep us from getting blown out, so at least we'll be competitive in losses (unlike earlier in the season).

It's only a matter of a couple games before Favors gets fired up, and continues his campaign towards becoming a top 5 defending big in the league, tbh. He lacked motivation, and looked devastated by each loss. Just wait until Burke is given the reigns. Shivering in anticipation, bros.

The Jazz will lose a lot. But they won't lose by 15+ regularly like they did pre-disabled list emancipation.

The Jazz will lose a ton of games. That's for sure. But they will not go back to being as bad as those 16 games to start the season indicated. Hayward may have had a great game, but Kanter was completely absent. Evans was also meh, and the vets were unexceptional. As the season progresses and the team develops chemistry, expect them to start winning some games. The top 3 pick is far fetched unless we get lucky with the balls.

Actually remember crying during that game, tbh. The goalie's replacement let in two of the most ****ing ridiculous goals I have ever seen in professional hockey. Entire family living room was silent.

Love seeing teh UGLI baby mad, tbh. Reminds me of when nm3983 dusted him in the first round of fantasy bball last year. Good times, bros. Good times :)

Trey Burks has learned faster than just about anyone, certainly me, ever thought he could. I thought he might overcome the pre-season stuff but he was showing no sign of it. Perhaps watching from the bench can be helpful if you actually watch and try to learn. All knew he had a lot of talent but the question was were we ever going to see it? We have!!!!

Theory: Burks presence has released Hayward from a lot of his ball handling responsibilities, given a few games to adjust they have both benefited from the other. Hayward seems to not be "forcing" his action anymore.

Anyway a team can't tank if they continue to try. There never was a tank except in some peoples minds. Trey Burke dumped that tank in the Great Salt Lake tonight. Sure would like a great draft pick but we can get one anywhere in the top 10.

But the lake ain't that deep, we can fish it out! We're just a hamstring pull away!

All I need is a hot shower in my bathroom kitchen.

The tank can suck it. I want to watch a competitive team that is forever a good player and a couple of years away from being a contender.

And this?
